Attentive but not pretentious service. Maitre D with good sense of humor ! Good food with a special mention on the spinach. Not for the traveler on a budget however......it's a steakhouse ! Elegant decor .

A friend took me here for lunch and I can see why he likes it. Lots of choices from top-end steaks to sandwiches and even some seafood. We both had the French Dip sandwich with Parmesan Fries and the combo was delicious. True to its claim, Uncle Jack's serves really tasty, tender beef. Service was efficient and cost reasonable. There... More

My family and I came to this restaurant because we have watched all of jack's shows in which he critiques and turns around failing restaurants. Based on tonight 's dinner , he should stop helping other restaurants and start focusing on his own business . The room was so hot we were all sweating . The steaks were tough and... More

Had a great time and used a Groupon too. The steaks are outrageous and so is the service. Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, Cesear salad crisp and dressed well. Sides of potatoes and creamed spinach yum. Try to guess the secret ingredient in the spinach! This was our second Groupon, and I'd buy another in a flash. Would go again... More

I'm a frequent visitor to Uncle Jack's Midtown as I am in the city many times a year and almost always stay at the Hilton on 6th which is only 2 blocks away. I'm a fan. I eat steak all over the world and Uncle Jack's always gets my vote as one of the better places in NY. A good... More

Had a phenomenal dinner via Groupon. Food was fabulous I had the filet and my husband had the strip steak. Our waiter Jose went out of his way and made for a memorable experience. Unsil was also so helpful and friendly. We loved our dinner experience after a matinee.

This is probably one of my most recent memorable lunch places. Tablecloth service lives up to the prices on the menu. It was quiet and ambient music was not loud to overpower my conversation. On the menu, we saw 10 ounces in the description of the lobster bisque. Sadly, we were too hungry to read the complete text only to... More

I have visited this lovely resturant with friends for a dinner. The service was perfect and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a rib eye steak which was so good and fresh with a wonderful special sauce of Uncle Jack. It a perfect place to have a unique steak in Manhattan.

The place is very good. It is not cheap- but what would you expect from a Manhattan steak house? We were dressed casually and the staff treated us like we were VIPs! Virgil- the head waiter (I think) was especially personable and helpful. We got the porterhouse for 2 and it was phenomenal! The sides were even better! We had... More

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy.
