I first visited this place in the summer of 2012 while the Olympics were on in the UK. It was lunchtime and I sat at the bar and watched sports on one of the two screens but once you get past the bar, the place becomes a more sedate restaurant. Wherever you choose to sit, if you like meat, this... More

We visited Uncle Jack's for the second time this year while visiting NYC. Our first visit was excellent and this was no different, but we brought two children, 14 and 11 on this visit. We had steaks all around and two of our group had the Fred Flintstone steak, huge and delicious, with sides. Our waiter helping us to ensure... More

We had dinner for 2, the restaurant decor is very nice, the food is ok but not amazing. We ordered oysters and a wedge salad, both were good. The wine list is also very good with many of the top American wines represented. For main, we shared a 12oz fillet steak, with sides of garlic mash (ok), sweet potato fries... More

Good place for a burger or steak lunch. Efficient and attentive service. The tables are not too close either. Not cheap but not unreasonable either.

He never checked to see how our meal was, if he did i might have had a chance to get a potato that was warmer then... More

Uncle Jack's has three locations, but the ambiance and decor of the W. 56th Street location is our favorite! The food, however, is equally good at all of them! A little secret: Uncle Jack's offers Groupons that are incredibly priced for a full dinner for two! Appetizers, steaks, sides, dessert and coffee. Keep an eye out. They happily honor them.... More

I stopped because there other restaurants were packed. I've been there a couple of times and have enjoyed the food. The Oyster Rockefeller are too rich with the goat cheese but we're very enjoyable. Try the lamb burger.

This high-end steak house has a great atmosphere. The staff are very knowledgable. The food was excellent. This was my first visit to the restaurant. I used a groupon so I wouldn't feel bad if I didn't like it. The only minus I have is when you use the groupon you have a special menu and they don't allow you... More
