My friend and I went to visit NYC at Christmas time and luckily for us we reserved lunch reservations on Open Table early enough to get lunch reservations. It was wonderful. Our waiter was attentive and made wonderful recommendations for our selections. We were not disappointed. Reservations are a must at peak times, especially this time of the year. Walking... More

I had a wonderful time with my mom and sister at BG. The choice in delights for Afternoon tea is great and the beautiful decoration of the BG makes it even more "Alice in Wonderland" like. It's elegant, it's classy and the food is delicious. It's a great place to feel cozy with your friends and talk about the latest... More

This premiere store features the best holiday windows I have seen this year. The theme is Destinations, and there are fabulous creatures and designer creations galore. You Tube has a snippet, but you should really see them for yourself.

This place would be no fun if the waiters were stuffy, but, in fact, they were wonderful and welcoming. The smiling manager stopped by our table several times to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt very well taken care of. This place is not a bargain, but c'mon people: this location (you look out the windows to... More

I have always like this place, the food is decent, but not great, but place have a great atmosphere and beautiful views of the 5th ave and the Central Park, staff is very friendly and helpful. If coming on busy day make sure you book a table or bar seat in advance as it's get very busy here. I guess... More

No wonder reservations are essential in this wonderful restaurant on the 7th floor overlooking Central Park. The small menu offers very tasty dishes, served by a friendly and professional team. There is a good choice of wines by the glass.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the halibut which was yummy and healthy. My companion had the lobster mac'n cheese which was yummy and comforting. The waiter highly recommended the scallops and I would definitely try that another time. At those prices, it's a rare treat but definitely to be considered for a treat. Make reservations, it was packed... More

We were about 20 mins late for our reservation, and they still honored it, which was great! The service, food, tea, the view, and the ambiance were all amazing - oh and the price was very reasonable, too! If you enjoy afternoon tea, I def. recommend this one!

This restaurant felt very touristy and not glamorous like we had expected. We went for Afternoon Tea to celebrate a 40th birthday. It was a hot August day and all the sandwiches were very dried out. Coffee was average and the waiter we had was a bit intrusive. Trying to be friendly and chatty but wouldn't leave us alone! The... More

The Good: Requested Whisper Chair seating when reserving and upon arrival such was available for my solo dining and very nice it was after a back cushion was provided. What was provided for the $45 tea cost was tasty, if a bit on the skimpy side. One tiny scone(?) along with several varieties of sandwiches and four teensy weensy sweets.... More

Description
Sophistication on the Seventh Floor of Bergdorf Goodman with afternoon into evening Central Park views. BG is a modern interpretation of the aristocratic social salon. Like a Park Avenue residence from the age of cosmopolitan glamour. Well-appointed and bright, the drawing room atmosphere is an intimate conversational setting for lunch, tea and early supper or cocktails. The light and sparkling menu is a modern take on classic New York fare.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
