The perfect get away after shopping, walking in the park or going to the Met. High tea was delicious. A little pricey but great atmosphere. I would have liked a little more food. View is great

We love the downstairs, casual restaurant. The sandwiches are always excellent as are the salads. The servers are on-to

The food is always reliably excellent, and the buzz is completely New York at its best. The lobster, either the salad or napoleon, is superb, and a reasonable, excellent wine list fills the bill for a delightful experience

We stopped in on a recommendation. The place was packed and a steady stream of folks arriving. The small table in the bar with two seats was open and the hostess asked if we wanted. YES! We enjoyed a glass of wine and too-die-for lobster mac and cheese. Definitely a place to stop for a quick break while on a... More

Food was excellent, wine was excellent, waiter was great. Highly recommend. The sticky toffee pudding was VERY good. If you like a "buttery" chardonnay, get the Newton.

The hustle, bustle and Trump cluster of w57th st area NYC leaves you with minimal choices once you have successfully arrived in the area. So while you already shopping in BG head downstairs to their small restaurant. Get there right before lunch hour starts to get a table otherwise there are lines that form quite quickly. On this visit the... More

A good place when you want to sit down for a delicious, fresh meal away from the hustle and bustle. Loved the tomato bisque so much. The chopped salad with chicken was fresh and filling. If you sit at the bar, you can get in quickly - not have to wait or make a reservation.

I had a wonderful time with my mom and sister at BG. The choice in delights for Afternoon tea is great and the beautiful decoration of the BG makes it even more "Alice in Wonderland" like. It's elegant, it's classy and the food is delicious. It's a great place to feel cozy with your friends and talk about the latest... More

This premiere store features the best holiday windows I have seen this year. The theme is Destinations, and there are fabulous creatures and designer creations galore. You Tube has a snippet, but you should really see them for yourself.

This place would be no fun if the waiters were stuffy, but, in fact, they were wonderful and welcoming. The smiling manager stopped by our table several times to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt very well taken care of. This place is not a bargain, but c'mon people: this location (you look out the windows to... More

Description
Sophistication on the Seventh Floor of Bergdorf Goodman with afternoon into evening Central Park views. BG is a modern interpretation of the aristocratic social salon. Like a Park Avenue residence from the age of cosmopolitan glamour. Well-appointed and bright, the drawing room atmosphere is an intimate conversational setting for lunch, tea and early supper or cocktails. The light and sparkling menu is a modern take on classic New York fare.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
