Really fun place. Game night trivia on Monday was ridiculously fun. It was great to see the mechanical bull. I would come back regularly just for the trivia - so much better than the corporate trivia you get in other places. Nice rustic vibe. Wings...More

Let’s just say that we had a waitress who claimed to be a manager but she couldn’t be because she overcharged us by $109. And when we asked her to adjust it she became IRATE!

Down a flight of Stairs, Long Bar - that doesn't seat too many people, many tables, lots of mirrors and a Mechanical Bull. It's a site of an old Bank Vault/Safety Deposit Vault - turned into a small scale copy of the set from Urban...More

Conveniently near Rockefeller. Fast food but in great setting below ground level with bucking bronco bull to try for free! Also different live music ie country singers which was great. Delicious steak sandwiches and reasonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful.

Three of us pals decided to go to Johnny Utah's before our evening John Mulaney show at Radio City. It was a little unnerving to go allll the way down alllll those stairs, but the restaurant itself didn't feel cavernous or underground at all. We...More

We stopped into Johnny Utah's because it was the only place around with no line. It was actually kind of deserted when we got there, including a very limited staff presence. Because we had tickets to a show, we quickly went to the bar where...More

In July 2007, New York welcomes Johnny Utah's, the urban cowboy experience, to Rockefeller Center. The Johnny Utah's experience begins with cuisine full of flavors & spices which embody the real meaning of Southwestern food. With hearty recipes of our cultural ancestors, Johnny Utah’s offers a menu full of zesty Texan BBQ ribs, savory steak fajitas, & authentic Mexican tequila. Almost every seat in the house has a view of the dining room’s main attraction, Manhattan’s only mechanical bull. Showcasing the full essence of the Southwestern theme, the beast is theatrically surrounded with cascading metal chains & burning candles that echo “rings of fire,” signifying the celebration of the icon. The interior was designed as an interpretation of an old western mining shaft with salvaged antique tiles & pony-hide furniture. Johnny Utah’s is a place where the music’s always pumping and the drinks are always flowing. We have redefined the urban cowboy experience through our unique promotions and promiscuous atmosphere. Cowgirls, cowboys and rock stars of all kinds are encouraged to come in and get wild.
