I had lunch at Basera Bistro. Things started off fine. I opted for the a la carte menu and enjoyed the samosas. The next two courses, dal and tandoori, were not good. The dal was soupy and not tasty. The tandoori was tough; overcooked, requiring...More

After working in hell's kitchen for more than 3 years, I definitely feel this is the best spotting the area for Indian. Relaxed atmosphere or quick takeout and really good customer service. Raj is the owner and he always makes me feel like a valued...More

I went to take a Frozen Margarita and it is the worst in NY. Wasn’t frozen and flavour was absolutely discussing. I will never come back again.

A casual dining place, the food is good and tasty. Garlic Naan was really delicious. Food is not spicy so you have to have them kick it up a notch. Or server was perky and attentive.

Small, quaint Indian restaurant, located on 9th Avenue in Hell's Kitchen. Nice ambiance. So many delicious menu options. I'm a vegetarian. I had the Matter Paneer with some Naan, and it was amazing. Add this restaurant to your itinerary! Loved this place. Highly recommend it.

Can’t recommend it any higher. Met the owner and he was awesome. This has been one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten at. A must stop if you are in the mood for Indian.

The food was great. The music was louder than what we cared to put up with, but when faced with the choice of losing a party of seven or silencing one of the speakers, the management made the correct choice!

We went here for dinner our last evening in Manhattan. The restaurant is very low key, and not overly fancy, but the food was excellent and the service attentive. We had samosas and paneer for a first and they were large servings and very good...More
