About
La Parisienne is a lovely French Café located in New York’s Financial District. It was opened in December 2017 by a young French couple, Julie and Adrian. A blue store front with the French and the American Flags greets you outside when you arrive. The whole place is a beautiful and energizing play of blue, turquoise, white and gold. La Parisienne offers a vast choice for breakfast, including French viennoiseries, fresh fruit salads, and savory options as their salmon brioche or the ham and cheese croissant. Coffee is by Coperaco and you’ll find a large choice of beverages… The tea selection is by Harney and Sons. The lunch menu features simple dishes as soups, salads, French “croque sandwiches” as Croque Monsieur or Madame, cheeses and charcuteries. It focuses on fresh and healthy ingredients, organic as much as possible. chocolate mousse and cookies, as well as pastries coming from French partners such as Ladurée baked goods. The bread comes from Pain d’Avignon.

We just loved this little place. We went for brunch on a Sunday morning and waited about ten minutes for a seat. It’s very cozy inside and looking at the food coming out it was very hard to decide what to order! The service was great, the food was delicious and I’d highly recommend you give it a try when in the area.

Staying round the corner at Artezen which has no restaurant. Was pretty busy around 930 for breakfast and seated at the counter. Ordered fresh OJ, fresh fruit, avocado toast. Fruit bowl wasn’t huge but fresh product (berries/pineapple/kiwi etc) as the toast with an extra egg on the side. Warm toast and healthy serving. Colleague at counter was chatty as well as the hostess. Ordered an extra hot cappuccino and pastry to go. Coffee was still hot by the time Ingot to my room. All in all filling breakfast, not cheap at $40 including tip, but recommended. Walked past in the evening and the restaurant was pretty full as well.

If you are anywhere in the area of Broadway and John Street or even the Financial District, do yourself a favour and at least walk by this little Café. We did several times before we got the chance to sit down and enjoy a very simple, exquisitely presented café fare. Obviously you have to start with nice coffees and our cappuccino and americano were excellent. We then enjoyed the yogurt and granola with fresh berries and the brioche french toast. Both were excellent. We were greeted warmly and professionally and quickly seated and served. Attentive, but not intrusive. We expect that we will be back on future trips

It didn’t bode well when the manager/owner spent 4 or 5 minutes having a conversation with a colleague while we waited outside. To be fair he did ask us to hold on but not an auspicious start. The main issues were a) the service was completely distracted: he would refill our waters and fill one up and add a cm of water to the other glass and then walk off; my cappuccino was sitting tantalizingly feet away from me for ages before I had to ask if it was mine. And b) When the food eventually came it was not great: French toast was delicious but the crab brioche was slapped together with crab from a can and my daughters mozza toastie was almost burnt on one side and they used jarred pesto. All together not a great experience. I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

Dear customer globalstu, We are sorry to hear about your experience at la parisienne today. We really did the best to satisfied all our valued customers. We are glad to hear you enjoyed our French toast. Due to Covid 19, we are suffering of a huge shortage of staff like most of companies in our industry. Meanwhile we manage to run the restaurant the best we could and this week end 2 or our employees were missing due to last minute emergency. I believe you noticed that a manager or myself ( owner) was on the floor at the time of your visite, you should have talk to us directly we would have correct it, we usually have really good feedback on our food, specially the crab salad;) We hope you will try again despite this incident and hopefully you will give us a better rate!!! Please next time try to bring it up to management before writing a bad review. Our industry took a huge toll during Covid, and we really need the support of our customer. Best,

After many years we returned to La Parissienne for brunch. It was just as successful as I remembered it to be. As NY starts to open, most everyone was sitting outside for Sunday brunch. Nearly every table was taken and we needed to wait to be seated. Though they were overwhelmed, the staff were patient, helpful and totally pleasant. A nice start. The street is quiet and so sitting on the sidewalk we could still enjoy a conversation while enjoying our meal. The food here is just fantastic. The French toast is perhaps the best I've ever eaten. The eggs are superb. We decided not to choose a dessert. And as busy as they were, we never felt rushed or cramped. This is not a restaurant that needs publicity, but still, it was a wonderful brunch experience.

During the summer, we visited La Parisienne in Financial District for brunch. It was easy to find, as it was very popular, and saw many people dining or waiting for a table. They had tempting looking baked goods on the counter. We got Almond Croissant, Financier, and Canelé. Almond Croissant was tall and buttery. As for Financier, I thought it was a Madeleine…therefore, it was surprising to get the full almond flavor. It was not as soft as I wanted, but moist and sweet. Canelé had kind of tough exterior, which was unexpected. Blast of caramel flavor. With that much baked goods, we didn’t feel the need to order two separate brunch dishes, so we ordered Croque Madam to share. We added a side of mixed greens. Croque Madam was cheesy goodness. The ham was thicker than some other ones we had, nice and meaty! The egg was cooked just right. It was filling and satisfying. Since it was such a nice brunch, we thought why not end it with some coffee and dessert? So, we ordered Cappuccino and Paris-Brest. The size of Paris-Brest was much bigger than expected, which was great. It had loads of cream filling! The cream was more solid than “cream” which made it easier to cut and eat. It was an excellent dessert! We had a nice, relaxing brunch here. The staff never rushed us, even though it was a popular spot. We enjoyed everything we ordered, and we were happy and full. Definitely a place we want to go back to in a future.

A delicious breakfast in a cute place. The French Toast and Latte I had was amazing and the service was fantastic. The staff checked on us to make sure we were doing well with our meal and moved at a great pace so other patrons can get a table. Really loved this experience, will be back.

La Parisienne was like a quick trip to Paris! The small, but charming restaurant was perfect for us. It is hard to get plant based meals. We enjoyed the happier special and ordered two good glasses of wine, the Rose and Pinot Noir. The hummus and veggies was our appetizer. The humus was rich, creamy and low in salt. For entrees we ordered the Mediterranean quinoa bowl and the seared greens bowl with smoked salmon. Everything was very good and we will return soon!

Phenomenal place to start your weekend. Prices are reasonable, and the owner does a great job of getting people in and out. Good coffee and pastries. Great place in FiDi to grab a casual brunch that wont break the bank and jumpstart your day

Kind of an interesting, but small, café in the financial district. In the winter it can be uncomfortable with people entering and exiting. But the menu is fine for a lunch or, in late afternoon, some tapa type plates. There's also a Monday through Friday happy two hours. Obviously, it's French-themed. Several Croque choices but, alas, no Nicoise. So I settled for pate.

La Parisienne is a great though very small place in FiDi. Our brunch was fantastic. Don’t miss the a la carte choices (eg the brioche French toast) as these are out of this world. I have to spend a lot of time pointing out how great the servers are. From managing the wait lost (keeping people waiting out in the cold from getting grumpy) to getting your order to keeping things moving in the cramped space - always with a smile and a personal touch - it’s the service that really sets this place apart.

I think our food was pretty good. I had the french toast (very sweet and filling) and my wife had the sandwitch matin. There was a bit of a wait and for brunch when you're hungry I'm not sure the wait is worth it.. Service was good and the food was good as well.

We went here for breakfast on a Monday. It's a little spot hidden next to The Malt House, with some french staples and cafe hits. Their almond croissant was really good, kind of eggy which is uncommon! Their avocado toast was also quite good. Nice little s;ot for some breakfast and coffee.

We found here the perfect place to start our days in NY. A small and friendly patisserie in the middle of Wall Street area. Has a small outdoor space where you can enjoy a sunny morning. The products are really good and the staff always with a friendly smile. I congratulate the owners for the efficiency of the staff as well as the technology used to help them. For sure I will return here.

Came here for breakfast several times on a recent visit to NYC. Attentive, friendly staff. Great food - plenty of options on the menu. Be aware it’s not a huge space so you might have a 10-15min wait to be seated if you’re not there early
