Dining with Christienne is the whole package - her home is warm and inviting, her food is authentic and delicious, and her demeanor is so friendly and pleasant. Don't miss an opportunity to dine with this host. She is worth the travel uptown!!!!
We had a wonderful evening at Christienne's place. She prepared different kinds of food. Even some vegeterian food for my girlfriend. Everything was very tasty. She offered us a carribean hibiskus drink, which was very good and something we had never experienced before.
I found myself at a loose end in NYC and managed to sign up to a dinner in Christienne’s house. It was fun, educational and really good value. Felt like going to an old friend’s house, except the cooking was something none of my friends...More

As a hub of African American culture, Harlem has played a vital role in the history of New York City. Today, the neighborhood is as vibrant as ever as new businesses and developments go up next to local institutions. The heart of the neighborhood is bustling 125th Street, where street vendors and historic landmarks like the Apollo Theater mingle with big-name stores. Turn down almost any corner, and
you’ll discover some of the most beautiful blocks in the city, filled with handsome brownstones, soul food restaurants, corner shops, and scenic parks. For a taste of a real New York neighborhood, it’s hard to top a visit to Harlem.
