Visited this place with a group of 24. Made reservations to be accommodated. Food was good and service was fine. Ordered the Veal Asparagi and Pollo Scampi and was not disappointed.

This is a great place in the theatre district. It is a nice room and wasn't at all busy when we dined. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of Italian dishes. We were served bruschetta and bread immediately. The bread was stale. I ordered the pasta e fagioli and my wife had the chick pea and pasta... More

While staying in NYC overnight we literally stumbled upon this gem while walking. We felt as if we had been transported back to the 1940's. Good food, quiet, quaint atmosphere. My husband said it was the best rack of lamb he had ever eaten. Food was excellent!

Discovered this restaurant in 2009 and ended up dining there twice on that trip, both times pre-theater. Recently returned again and found consistency with our previous experience. This restaurant is located on the fringe of the theater district, making it a perfect dining choice pre-theater. Bonus is that food is actually good (!) and prices aren't outrageous like other crappy... More

This is the most amazing restaurant on the Row to eat at. The Steaks are the best in the city, the Fresh Pasta is like Grandma makes, and the Service staff is so amazing. Peter is the Best Server I have had in years!!!

Myself ad 3 friends went here last week for dinner. It is a lovely setting and the interior very nice. The service was the worst we have ever experienced anywhere in the world. The restaurant was almost empty with approx 15 people including ourselves. The first 2 bottles of wine we ordered were out of stock, they then brought one... More

My husband and I went to Italy for our honeymoon and wanted to have a similar experience for our anniversar, but local. We found this quaint place with the perfect menu. The risotto special with squid ink was delicious and the steak Fiorentina hit the spot. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ate outside and was very romantic.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
