My husband and I went to Italy for our honeymoon and wanted to have a similar experience for our anniversar, but local. We found this quaint place with the perfect menu. The risotto special with squid ink was delicious and the steak Fiorentina hit the spot. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ate outside and was very romantic.

After walking up and down Restaurant Row in search for a quiet place to dine with atmosphere and style my husband and I decided to try this great little restaurant. We were very pleased with the attentive wait staff and terrific food. It was everything we were looking for and will definitely return when we visit NYC again.

This restaurant gave us the best meal we had in New York; it was awesome. It’s a small, unimposing restaurant which means you get attentive service and great food at a well-balanced price. I had Filet Mignon and my partner had the 32oz Porthouse steak special and they were to die for. An accompaniment of asparagus with cheese, fried mushroom... More

We frequently eat at La Bistecca when we are in New York! The food is great and the service is impeccable! They are open late so an after theater dinner is possible! During truffle season they use truffles in various dishes and each one is superb!! Love this place!

Had Sunday lunch here before returning to the UK on the 22nd May 2016. The food was very ordinary and not worth the high cost. When presented with the check, I added a decent tip and paid with my Credit Card. We left around 3-00pm and took a taxi to JFK for the flight home. When I received my Credit... More

My friend and I were looking for Italian on a Thursday at about 5pm before the theatre. Bistecca Fiorentina had seating available on the patio, and NO reservation. We found out other restaurants fill up early for the theatre. They had a great theatre menu with an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I had the chicken and shrimp scampi, and they... More

Enjoyed dinner here after seeing a Broadway show. Portions are large. The filet mignon was cooked perfect and tender as can be. The veal piccata dinner was delicious. The squid and octopus appetizer was amazing! All sides were very good and nice size portions. Enough to for 2 people for sure. Wait service was very good too. Everything ala carte.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
