Beneath the pulsing city lies a hidden dining destination. Steaks from the finest Black Angus cattle. Bespoke cocktails. A restored Bank Vault from the 1930s. This is Butcher & Banker. New York’s Most Unique Steakhouse at the crossroads of Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Javits Center and Hudson Yards. Under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Scott Campbell, Butcher & Banker is no ordinary steakhouse. Seasonal ingredients and unique flavor combinations showcase the kitchen’s creativity. A dozen different steaks are on offer, but non-steak eaters will dine exceedingly well here.

This restaurant was below our hotel (The New Yorker at Wyndham). The history of it- you’re literally eating in a former bank and can even eat in the vault. This is all underground! The food was delicious. Atmosphere- one of kind!
