An unrushed lunch oasis near United Nations building and Midtown Manhattan. We happened upon it and were so pleasantly surprised. Italian is their cuisine; however, our lunch choices weren't typical "Italian"--brussels salad with salmon, strip steak and the burger. All were good. Service was impeccable!...Loved the vibe. Our absolute favorite was the fried zucchini appetizer!More

There are waiters. And hosts. And then….. there is STEPH FROM MIAMI!!!!!. the warmest, friendliest, most natural, most customer service oriented person you have ever met. She made our dinner super enjoyable. Gracious. Funny. Hospitable. She just “gets it”. Will be the reason we return....Not to mention that the pasta was delicious. And overall level of staffing was great. Try the Black Manhattan cocktail too!More

This restaurant was a nice surprise! The food was delicious especially the burrata and the whipped ricotta cheese. The wine list is a little limited but it does pair well with the food. Service was great and our waiter was very polite and super helpful...with recommendations.More

Roomy, bright modern Italian option in Midtown. Our server made sure my wife's food allergies were accommodated and our drinks were refilled. Crowded and can be loud so be ready to speak up while you dine. Great evening w/ my niece and her husband.

Our experience in this restaurant was mostly good, the food is great and once you order, you don't have to wait a long time. The only slight disappointment regarding the food is that the menu doesn't offer a lot of Italian dishes, and the only...one is pasta. Now my biggest problem is the restaurant's organization. We booked a table for 9 pm, for only 3 people. We got there at 8.55 pm and they told us to wait outside. We waited outside in the rain on our feet for more than 20 minutes, then we kindly got back in the restaurant and politely asked if we would be able to eat at some point, seeing we booked a table in advance. A very rude staff member, probably the receptionist, told us impolitely to go wait outside without complaining, and that the restaurant was too full to give a table to everybody who had booked. Now I find it unacceptable that, even though we booked a table, we had to wait 25 minutes in the rain on our feet. The rest of the experience was much better, I recommend the calamari and bucatini Cacio e Pepe, but I am slightly disappointed by the way they treat their clients who booked a table.More

Go for the bolognesa or the campanella. The branzino is good too. Decent wine menu but too high prices. About three to four times the orices of a wine store

We loved our brunch at La Pecora Bianca because everything was fresh, tasty and the atmosphere was great. I loved that I could actually see the staff preparing food (including handmade pasta) and cocktails in the open cooking space. Staff were all professional, nice and...friendly. Mimosas were perfect. I will go back!More

We had quite nice brunch in this resto. It was busy and noisy, and as usual they made us wait until everyone arrives (hate this rule in NYC). The receptionist was rude and unfriendly. On the positive side: - food was very good, i took...kale salad with salmon and ricotta - the waitress was super friendly and helpful, recommended good wine too - i like overall atmosphere So im planning to go for brunch again. But please do something with your moody receptionist.More

I found the food to be mediocre and overpriced. I recommend not visiting this restaurant if you have a gluten intolerance. I ordered from the prix fixe menu after the waiter assured me that there was a gluten free option available for each course. There...wasn’t! After finishing the first two courses, the waiter informed me that they ran out of the gluten free desert on the prix fixe menu. Instead, he gave me gelato, which was so disgusting I couldn’t eat more than two bites. When I asked the manager to refund the desert portion of the prix fixe menu he refused. I also found the manager to be rude. I would not recommend eating at this restaurant.More

We walked into this midtown east restaurant not knowing what to expect — La Pecorina Bianca Has a cozy but modern vibe with white walls and fixtures with cool clean lines but with a ceiling to floor to bookcases along the entirety of one wall...that ties the whole room together and gives it character and warmth. We dined during restaurant week and chef didn’t disappoint. We all ordered their homemade pasta which they are famous for. Glass and a half of wine 🍷 all around - I had the Gargenelli- roasted wild my grooms, arugula pesto, garlic and pecorino - delicious. We all enjoyed the evening and our waitperson was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She made the evening perfect. I’d go back in a minute even without the prix fixe menu. A double thumbs up.More
