Thought about going to Wolfgang's again nearby but this had great reviews. I was not disappointed. Bacon starter was delicious and the Porterhouse for two was superb. Easy walk from Park or Upper East and service was attentive. No decent steakhouse is cheap and I will be back.

We wanted an old school steakhouse and that's exactly what we found. The staff was very attentive but not in our way of having a great time. My wife took advantage of the Restaurant Week four course dinner offering. She chose the Cream of Cauliflower soup, the Filet Mignon, the creamed spinach and her desert course was the cheesecake, with... More

What a great meal we had at Club A Steakhouse. Simply put, amazing. Ambiance was great. Music was great, lively, old classics. Service was great. Prices weren't as high as some top notch steakhouses in Las Vegas, which was great. But here you are paying for high quality food, and that's exactly what you get. We had the porterhouse for... Had drinks & beer at bar first, continued beer at table, as wine list is very pricey. For appetizers had calamari. It was crisp and delicious, and I usually am disappointed with rubbery offerings at other restaurants. Crab cake starter (2 cakes) could be an entree.Three of us shared Porterhouse for 3 - it was large and very tasty meat,... More

We visited NYC as part of my partners 50th Birthday celebrations. I booked this restaurant having scoured Trip Advisor and the Internet. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into this lovely bijou restaurant; shown to a table where seats for couples were set as we like them side by side as opposed to opposite.... More

OK-- it was Restaurant Week but we ordered items that were also on the regular menu, so I was surprised at how mediocre the food was. The calamari was bad and the creamed spinach so salty that it had to be sent back. My filet was good but not among the top 25% I ever had. He said his pork... More

I love this place. Not only is it my favorite place to go whenever in NYC, it´s also one of my reasons. The crispy, tender, juicy mignon is a taste of heaven, and the sauted mushrooms to go with it as well. I truly recommend it. Sad to say, my last visit was not ideal. I was happy to bring... More

I came to New York for a week with one goal: to find good food and make the most of the experience. This is where 'Club A' meets the mark. At roughly 7pm, just at the cusp of the evening rush: we arrived at Club 'A'. Upon opening the door you're greeted with a faint buzz and clinking of glasses... More

Came here for restaurant week. I made a reservation for 5 people at 6pm. We arrived about 30 minutes early and they were able to seat us. We sat on the first floor. It was hot, which was partly due to the door opening and closing during a hot summer day. The upstairs was cooler. The restaurant week specials had... More
