We just happened upon this diner while walking down Broadway just down from Columbus Circle. Warm and inviting, a true diner with character everywhere. My husband had what he described as the best BLT he has ever had! I had the Ruben, which took some construction given the amount of corn beef provided, but it was worth it!! Yum so... More

It looks like it still stuck in the 80's but the food is excellent, the staff are some of the best we have come across and it's always been clean and well presented every time we've been in.

We were hungry for a real meal and the food here was ok, but the vegetables seemed to be doused in a "butter" sauce that was really oily. We got the broiled seafood which was covered in paprika, unusual.

While this place does give a lot of food, it's not very good food. The fries are not worth it, burger was dry and flat, the cheese on the cheeseburger was not even melted, and you have to pay extra for EVERYTHING. The menu was confusing and almost all of us ended up being charged more than we expected because... More

With so many other restaurants available why does this even exist! Poor service, poor food and too expensive, there are so many better.

We stopped in for lunch. We all had sandwiches and they were very good. The service was really good. We sat out on the sidewalk and watch NYC for a little bit. So much to watch....

We stopped for breakfast and were treated to a window table to watch the world go by as we enjoyed freshly prepared eggs benedict and egg, bacon and sausage. Coffee refills flowed and it was a very relaxing visit. There's probably more inexpensive places nearby, but we felt the price reflected the quality of food and service.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, my sister has been here before. Went for breakfast, we had the standard fare; eggs, potatoes and turkey sausage. It was good, it was hot and it came very quickly. Coffee was hot and was good. Prices were average for New York.

Restaurants are all about location but food should be the first priority. Menu prices for breakfast were outrageous based on its location. The food was ok, but not anything to merit paying the price for simple omelets. The only thing positive was the sidewalk dining which is standard fare for this part of NYC

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
