So happy we found this place. We came after a Ranger game. Crowd looked like regulars, but the bartender welcomed us right away! We had the wings - they were great. Stayed for couple of hours and enjoyed the fireplace and the many beers on tap. Nice place for conversation and a late night drink! We will be back!

Read about this place online and decided to seek it out. There was a choice of 30 different craft lines ranging from 4-11% abv. Absolute great choice. $1 off draught beer mon-fri daytimes. Couldn't try everything even tho we wanted to! A must for beer lovers!

I have been visiting the Blind Tiger Ale House since the days when it was located on Hudson Street many years ago. During my most recent visit to the current location on Bleecker Street, there were 28 craft beers on tap, with 19 of them from excellent micro-breweries in the Northeast, as well as several quality brews from California, Maryland,... We were stumbling around the Village looking for a place to eat and came across Bind Tiger. As others have said great beer selection. need to get back to try more. Not many seats. We just beat the rush. Despite being busy service was prompt and friendly. We did eat. I had a French Dip w/ Bloody Mary Mix. cool... More

Absolutely amazing craft beer selection and a great variety of styles. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly bartenders who do an excellent job no matter who busy it gets. Love this place!

Blind tiger was there before everyone else figured out that craft beer was religion. It's a cozy place, not much seating room. Read: not good for groups. The tap list always has new and interesting finds and is well balanced in terms of styles.

This is a great little place for beer. There are not a lot of tables and the place gets busy. Despite being crowded the service was very good. I was recently there on a Sunday afternoon and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The crowd ranged from young to old and there were as many women as men. Only... More

Good selection of draft and bottle beer in a modest size pub. 2 drink minimum if using a credit card.

Hubby was on a Blind Tiger crusade this NYC visit. If he had a choice, he would live, breath, and eat, every-day...all-day at this locale.

I spend a considerable amount of hard-earned cash here to enjoy the constantly-rotating selection of drafts. There's usually a handful of truly obscure beers, plus the rest of the selection always features an excellent array of types ranging from ale to stout to everything else. Occasional cask offerings are extremely rare. Special events here (like tap takeovers) are great. Secret... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
