Four of us sat outside, where it was very hot, but we consoled ourselves with the specialty drinks from the menu. Lasagne, watermelon salad, meatballs, and a pasta dish were ‘way above similar offerings at other restaurants, and our server was very attentive.. Pricey, but...isn’t it everywhere? A+More

Great food! Try the cheese, it’s amazing. We also had some delish risotto with saffron. And the staff are really nice!!!

A delightful cozy Italian (real Italian -- ie, no chicken parm) on Upper West Side. We love the burrata salad and the homemade gnocchi melts in your mouth. Buon appitito!

This is simply a magic place. If it happens you’re in town you have to try its food, if you live in NY then you might fall in love for it. It’s a pure pearl of Italian food in Manhattan while it’s finely curated and...well designed the menu of the chef Lorenzo will offer you an aesthetic experience of taste in which you would get lost amazed. Don’t ask for some specific food, simply ask the chef to offer you his talent and you’ll get surprised and delighted. You can also buy great and tasty food to cook at home.More

We had a delightful brunch here last weekend. The Upper West Side is a beautiful place for a long Sunday walk, particularly along Riverside Park. We made a short walk to Amsterdam Ave. for Salumeria Rosi and it was the perfect choice. The restaurant is...rather small and cozy, although in warmer weather there's plenty of space outdoors. They offer a nice selection of sandwich/breakfast items and everything was delicious. I had the beef panini while my companions had eggs and french toast. The pasta options look very enticing for dinner so we'd like to return soon. Service was prompt and very accommodating as well.More

Once cutting edge... very Italian...now...what happened? Had bland meal this eve. Heaters not working outside. Signature salad a tasteless blend of so many ingredients something should have stood out. Pork tenderloin overcooked and...dare I say...old? Maybe last night's tenderloin left over. I"m patient and lenient...with Covid...but this meal was...lousy. I also travel to Italy yearly and I can say with certainty....this meal was not Italian in taste or preparation.More

You do not want to miss dinner here. The food is authentic - the pesto cavatelli was so good I was sorry I ordered the small portion. The service is very friendly. And definitely sit outside if you can since the people watching is entertaining....Definitely recommend this restaurant - but make sure you have reservations so you won't be disappointed.More

This is the best restaurant I have ever been too. As I told my mom, I would straight up move here so I could eat at this restaurant on a normal basis. Everything was absolutely phenomenal - like I would scream it from the rooftop...phenomenal.More

My friend and I came here for dinner and we absolutely loved it! We sat outside and the outdoor dining set up was wonderful. They have a lovely little deli inside along with the restaurant with so many authentic Italian products as well. My favorite...dish was the ORECCHIETTE SALSICCIA E BROCCOLI. It took me right back to Puglia! Highly recommend. // Instagram @dametravelerMore

Our favorite parts of the meal were the salumi and pasta. Coming from the Midwest, you noticed more intense flavor in the salumi along with the texture of a time intensive process. Their pastas are well made and the menu is diverse. I personally would...recommend going here for a snack and enjoy their main product. Our server was ok and unfortunately due to Covid the table we had was uncomfortable, but I can't fault the place too much since they were doing the best they could. We had to sit inside due to the weather so maybe investing in the outdoor seating area would be beneficial.More

After a 15 month COVID hiatus, finally back in the big Apple. Ventured to this delightful Italian restaurant the Upper West Side. As most New York restaurants there is now expanded outdoor seating. But we sat inside and there were plexiglass dividers between tables. The...waitress (Ar) was the perfect mix of attentiveness and humor. We shared the Roasted Peppers with white anchovies over arugula starter. Unlike some places where the white anchovies are cloyingly sweet, these were perfect. My table mate had the Gnocchi which had the perfect texture. As was the impeccable flavors of my Cavatelli al Pesto. Nice selection of wines by the glass as well. Overall a wonderful dining experience. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available.More

True Italian gem of the UWS. As close as you are going to get to going to Italy without getting on a plane. Wonderful deli with amazing meats. Take a panini to go, too!

Used to be our go to place for salumi - love the selection as well as accoutrements including olives, anchovies, etc. We were in the city on Saturday and popped in and were horrified to what extent the quality has gone down while the prices...have gone up. The finocchiona we got was really good, albeit expensive, the prosciutto (san daniele) was ok, nothing wrong with it, and the porchetta was decent. The cotto was fine, but we couldn't believe it was $36/lb. Further, we ordered at the counter and were told to come back to save time and be pandemic-safe (which is great), but were shocked to learn that the extremely small order or fagioli gigante (wax beans) was $9! Look, I'm happy to spend money on food, but the quality has gone down while the prices have gone way up. I get it that the pandemic has taken a toll, but this place is taking some liberties with the pricing. Please view this as your warning - the food is decent, but definitely not worth the price. You'd be way better off going to Eataly as the selection, quality, and value are all far superior.More

We dined at a sidewalk table in July 2020 - among the first weeks allowing outdoor dining instead of pick-up/delivery only. Charming owner served us a deliciously home-cooked meal, with obvious pride and pleasure of family recipes prepared with love. Quality of the ingredients is...everything because there is not a lot of "sauce" on the dishes. This is "pure" Italian. As it is a salumeria, we made sure to sample the classics - shared salads of Bresaola & Arugula, and the Buratta starter - perfection. Main dishes were varied, my house-made salsiccia was perfectly spiced and roasted, came with a platter that complemented the earthy sausage perfectly. Others had porchetta sandwich or the pork belly - every one savored until the plates were empty but I think my salsiccia platter was the winner. We shall return to try the house-made Caponata and desserts - we did not have room to eat more on this visit. the location is ideal - near Broadway, Lincoln Center, Central Park.More

This has been a good restaurant for the dine-in experience, but even giving the benefit of the doubt for the pandemic, the food I picked up was very mediocre and overpriced. The salad was absolutely basic, just lettuce and olive oil. The soups both were...mediocre as was the main pasta with meat dish. Regarding the vegetarian dishes, the eggplant had way way too much oil, while the cauliflower was good. For desert, the sorbet was OK, but the apple pie with cream was very good. All in all, paid way too much money for what we got both in terms of volume and quality. As I remember, the dine-in experience was a good deal better, in the past.More
