Sunday late lunch, delicious half pound burgers great combination of items to put on top. Ice cold draft beer. The winner was the sautéed string beans with bacon ranch
Dipping sauce. Truffle fries where very good and the red onion, onion rings where super tasty.
The food is great , worth a stop, Hard to hear conversation at the table music is too loud.

While in NYC to see an afternoon play at the American Airlines' Roundabout Theater, my friend and I stopped in to eat lunch here. We each had an over sized wagyu burger. She had the Queen's Rule and I had the King of Lux. We also tried the onion rings and the French fries. Even though we were quite full, we shared the Drunkin Donut Holes for dessert. OMG!!! The sugar covered donut holes were freshly made and served warm with a delicious Kahlua-caramel dipping sauce!! It was absolutely scrumptious!! I never had anything quite like it..so much so that I am still savoring it in my mind! I highly recommend that you leave room for dessert!

Forget about Minetta Tavern, Spotted Pig, Burger Joint, or any other “Shake Shack” american pattie, I’ve tried pretty much +15 burgers spots in Manhattan and can say Kings of Kobe is definitely one of the top 5 if not the best burger in the city. If you like juicy burger and done the way it should be done (medium rare!) with a lot of pickles you should definitely try the Standard Burger. The brioche bun as being one of the most important component in the burger is delicious and provides the perfect structure for the juicy wagyu burger there. I’ve also tried other burgers, even the vegan with GF buns and they are also of high quality, although If you’re not vegetarian/vegan and want to go all-in for your first visit you should definitely try the standard burger!

Terrible service when no one in restaurant . Very expensive for what it was , wrong order after repeating it and then being overcharged by someone else’s orders being added to ours - this was then removed but no other compensation . Waitress was quite rude and deliberately ignoring us when trying to get attention .

We were first in on a Saturday brunch - waiter was very attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere and the food did not disappoint. Amazing burgers, lots of choice and really great value for money. We were looking for a quality burger joint and this did not disappoint. Would recommend.

The waiter advised us the King’s Standard and the Duke of Lux, both excellent! Meat is of high quality, toppings fresh and well prepared. The battered fries go well along. Recommended.

We stopped here after the circle line city lights cruise for something to eat. The service was excellent. The food delicious - loads of topping on burgers and hot dogs, and the fries were amazing. Also very reasonably priced compared to the meals we had closer to Times Square. Highly recommend.

This was our second time at this restaurant on 42nd Street right across the street from the Hudson River. We returned because the burgers are extraordinary—as are the fries and the onion rings. Of course, the Kobe Wagyu beef makes for a burger that is amazingly light. It goes down like good champagne. The first time here, we were able to sit outside on the patio. This visit, it was too cold for that, so we dined inside where—my only complaint—it was just to dark for my taste. But we’ll be back no matter the weather.

Reserved a table for 4 at 15:00 on Sunday 19th February. Friendly staff as we entered 25 minutes early, good modern interior and explanation of the restaurant and menus. Prompt service with great tasting dishes (big portions). Our last meal in NYC and fully recommend a visit.

Best chilli dog and truffle fries I’ve ever had. So delicious and served piping hot and fresh. I sought out this restaurant after reading reviews, and am so glad I did. Best meal of the trip so far. Service is also excellent, friendly, attentive, caring and quick. Thank you for a lovely meal and great memory of New York!

Not only is the food great, the location to Pier 83 is fantastic! We wanted to find. A spot close to the cruise and pier that served good food without pomp and flash. We had two kids who would be dressed for the cold weather yet in need of fuel before a night cruise. Jo g of Kobe delivered!
Our burgers were fantastic. The truffle fries were beyond good and by far my favorite. Both kids finished their burgers and no complaints (that’s a ringing endorsement!).
There is a cute playground sixty seconds away. Great stop en route to the cruise and pier as well.

This is a neat place near the circle line. Upscale burgers and dogs with a full bar and a nice happy hour. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable for NYC. Fine for families. Only downside is that it is all the way over to the river on the west side, otherwise a sure bet

Good food and attentive service. We had the extra large mozzarella sticks and a burger. Both were excellent and portions large.

Hell's Kitchen
Just a few strides from the pulsing beat of Times Square, Hell’s Kitchen has a much more local pulse than its buzzing neighbor. The low-key vibe is part of the appeal, but there’s also a new energy arriving in the neighborhood in the form of modern residential buildings with new retail and food shops. Ninth Avenue is lined with restaurants of all types, from tiny Thai hangouts and Italian trattorias to French bistros and Southern cuisine. Just show up hungry and walk up and down the street, you are bound to find something that looks good. For a more classic taste of the city, grab a bite to eat along Restaurant Row (46th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues) before a Broadway show. The Hudson River provides a break from the city blocks with riverside views, piers for boat tours, and parks perfect for a stroll.
