after few minutes in the line you will get tasty, flavorful and cheap plate, but beware of the red bottles - very, very HOT! If you will remember this I guarantee it will be very nice time on the w53rd Street & ^th Ave.

Good street food but quite bland, needs to incorporate spice and heat and cook through meat, instead of the super hot sauce bottle accompaniment on the side of van. Beware this chilli sauce is searingly hot, try on the tip of your fingertip, too much and you will end up with stomach cramps and sore bottom! Falafel was tasty and... More

Super popular in the city. Always a line but the line moves quickly. You will not regret to wait in line for a few minutes with a $7 satisfying meal!

One of my NYC "musts" (the other is Balthazar). Was actually craving to go back and have their mixed plate again! Line up is long but fast.

Worth the line, it's long but loves reasonably quickly! That mystery sauce makes my mouth water even thinking about it now!

There are a lot of halal street foods in NYC. You have to make sure you go to the right now. If the line is not long, then it's the wrong one. Best NYC food! You would think my favorite restaurant in NYC would be a steakhouse or a pizza place, but no, this is my favorite place to eat... More

We smelled this before we saw it and it had a long line that was moving pretty fast so we stopped. There are a lot of other halal carts but this one has a the best gyros and plates. Tons of meat and a great white sauce, Pita is very soft and fresh, the $5 sandwich is a truly amazing... More

This food stand is one of my go to places when visiting the Museum of Modern Art. The sandwiches and platters are so good and really filling. They give you a nice size portion for your money. This is why the lines are so long. Their combination plates are the best loaded with meat, rice and salad and with a... More

Every time I need a quick and reasonable lunch and the weather is nice, I order on of their chicken and gyro combination sandwiches and a Coke and eat it in the court yard across the street from the Museum of Modern Art. It is so nice to get your sandwich and just people watch. The sandwiches are huge and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
