The food was excellent We had ribeye steak Chilean sea bass which was a huge piece. Delicious lemon wine sauce over mash potatoes. The service was impeccable

I live in the neighborhood and wanted to try something new. I wasn’t disappointed! My iceburg wedge salad and filet mignon were excellent. The staff was super friendly. I will be back!
I absolutely love the salad and the steak. I was looking for a steakhouse that would satisfy my cravings and I was not disappointed.
1) Let's start with - we ordered appetizers. We explained we weren't done yet but the waiter grabbed the plates anyway. 2) Next - we decided to share the Porterhouse for 2, along with creamed spinach & fried mushrooms. We ordered "Medium Rare" steak. When...they brought it to the table it was "RAW". I am talking dead cold in the center. I showed it to the waiter who argued with me and said " well what would you like me do do about it?" He then called over another waited and they argued in another language amongst themselves. My jaw just dropped and I was sooooooo embarrassed in front of my client. They took the steak and cooked it some more & brought it back to the table but now it came back grey & overcooked. What they should have done was "Fire up another steak and made it right"!!! I would not recommend this restaurant and will never go back! They didn't even take a portion off the bill!!!More
I came for some good seafood and a drink. My server Val was amazing and friendly. The Sea Bass was superb as well as the asparagus. The scotch was top notch. This visit was well worth the price. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.
The best steak house , amazing food great service I highly recommended this restaurant will definitely be coming back
Amazing food & amazing personnel! Very good steak & wine! Child friendly! Personnel very experienced and very professional!
Most Fabulous French Onion Soup I’ve ever had. I come twice a week for lunch with customers or solo. It’s my secret safety place. Highly recommend to everyone!
The wine list is disappointing. We ordered a Caesar Salad - Specifically asked if the dressing has anchovies - NO , said our server. After one bite I realized there was plenty of anchovies . . When I called our server back he said will...inquire with the chef, and then added probably yes to anchovies, excepted that they are pre mixed in the dressing. We send the salads back. Hoping the porterhouse for two will save the evening. The quality of the meat was disappointing !! The cooking didn’t help. I erroneously booked Royal 35 based on a Michelin star. I wonder how they were awarded a Michelin star… Terribly disappointing night ! I apologized to my wife for booking poorly. PS. I gave Royal 35 ⭐️ ⭐️ , assuming that nobody would read a review with one star only . However, I believe it does not deserves more than ⭐️.More
Had reservations and we arrived exactly on time but no table was available. We were sent to a pub next door and only 2 out of the four of us consumed alcoholic beverages so we sat and waited for the table to become available. Approximately...20 minutes later they came for us and we were seated. The four of us shared a 44oz ribeye which was $187.00. The sides are expensive too especially the ramps. The steak was good but not great or worth the price! After our sides & steak with tip, the bill was approximately $350.00. Overall the food is good but overpriced like most restaurants in New York.More
This was a first trip back to NYC since the pandemic and were so sorry that one of our favorite restaurants did not make it. But, it was OK because we discovered the Royal 35 steakhouse. Had the porterhouse for 2 which was absolutely delicious--cooked...and seasoned just right. Also had the chopped salad and onion rings which were also fabulous. Great staff and great food. What else could you ask for!More
I went with four friends. Everyone enjoyed their experience. Sizzling Canadian Bacon appetizer...phenomenal! It was charred like a steak, which is something I didn't know could be done with pork. We paired up and got two porterhouses for two. We went medium for both steaks...over the objection of one of us who wanted medium rare. He did indeed say that while good, he would have preferred rarer. Hardly the restaurant's fault though, and it was perfectly cooked for me... ...except...maybe...it could of had a little more of a seared crust to be perfect perfect. The mac'n'cheese side was very good. The creamed spinach was very good. The sauteed onions...meh. And call me crazy, but I LOVE that it was well lit. It drives me crazy that fancy restaurants think straining your eyes is sophisticated dining. Plus there was plenty space for our table. No feeling of being crowded. Our waiter was excellent. The host (I assume owner) came over & welcomed us. Convivial without being overbearing. The price was manhattan steakhouse prices. Very expensive, but to be expected. I do wish they (and many other fine dining establishments) would post prices on their web-site. It shouldn't be a surprise when you get there.More
The service was outstanding, the steak perfectly cooked, and the dessert was heavenly. The best meal we have ever had.
I was there and it's really worth it!!!! super recommended, very good attention and the spectacular place
All the food was cooked well enough but the quality of the steak wasn't great and they pair it with ketchup which is really odd. The onion rings weren't fresh and the baked clams were 80% breading. Thankfully the club music wasn't too loud but...it's a very odd choice for a steakhouse. Go to Kean's if you want a great meal. They also push customers to write a review on TripAdvisor so you're welcome.More
