Close quarters but you won't mind once the food starts coming out. Everything here was good but especially the churros and salted ice cream that come with them. Ginger soda was a treat as well.

We went for the second time last night and yet again it was a superb experience. The food - cheeseburger spring rolls, Korean chicken wings, lobster Mac, tuna rolls, classic Mac - all amazing. The service was also spot on - really helpful and some top tips. We love this place!!

Visited here for drinks and bites during happy hour - good value. Service was excellent as was the drink/food. Great place for people watching - inside and outside. Would love to return for full dinner sometime.

Walking around with our NYC friends and figuring out where/what to eat had us arriving at Delicatessen, picked by my husband just because it caught his attention and he was hungry. What a wonderful find! Food to fit all our picky tastes and absolutely delicious! I had their Cobb salad while my husband had the Reuben. We all shared the... More

The food (we ordered burgers with truffle fries) was great, so was the atmosphere and service. Don't go here if you mind some high music and a high tempo atmosphere. A bit pricey.

Stayed in Soho on a recent trip to NYC. My daughter and I had brunch at Delicatessen and loved it. She ordered the brioche French toast which was incredible - it looked like a half a loaf of brioche but had apples in it. I ordered the omelette with goat cheese and it was fresh and delicious. The aesthetics and... More

The place is great, very well decorated and if it's warm enough you can also sit outside so it reminds you a lot of a french brasserie, being however its 100% american version! All american food, however it's not fast food or street food, they have great american plates but very well presented and you can tell they are taking... More

Had dinner there and was not impressed with the extra charges for substitutions (at the time of ordering not mentioned or said at no extra charge). Also not impressed with the rice patty that they pushed on me instead of a bun (I have to be gluten free) and also charged extra for some terrible rice soaked in oil. Didn't... More

We had a lovely evening and dinner here with a large group of nice. We all had different types of food, and I heard no complaints, was really good - good choices also. the only thing we liked less, but this seems the norm in Soho, is the loud music in the restaurant. As if you are in a club,... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighborhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighborhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighborhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
