Once I got there there was a 35 min wait. I waited with a friend got seated, then waited 5 mins for menus. The food would've been more enjoyable if the place wasn't so packed. I suggest calling and making sure it's not to crowded before going.

Great good, amazing service, dirty dishes. They probably just have a bad dishwasher or something. Either way, would definitely come here again

While we were expecting seasonally long lines, there weren't and we were given a table immediately. My wife and I started with soup which we had to send back for reheating but was very tasty. For a main dish my wife ordered Halibut which she said was very good. I ordered grilled tuna, medium rare, and it was PERFECT!!! Red... More

MY MOST FAVORITE FOOD This used to be a kosher-specialty restaurant in Mid-town that excelled at desserts and fish dishes. It moved up north to 72nd Street a few years ago. The new headquarters lack some of the shine of the mid-town place, but the desserts and breakfasts are fine. In fact, the cakes, cookies etc are sinfully good. We... More

I ate here tonight with three friends. Since it's Passover the restaurant raised its prices substantially, which I had expected. So we paid $240 for the four of us. What I had not expected was that they also reduced the size of the food portion. I ordered eggplant rollatini, and the portion was two small, thin slices of eggplant with... More

Extremely noisy, almost impossible to hold a conversation, we were there for a Brunch with friends. Food quality was mediocre as was the service.

Ambiance can be important. For this Sunday night dinner, sitting on the outside enclosed patio, it felt like an UWS experience. The food was OK, nothing special, but nicely served. The desserts were very tasty. Given a choice, go for dessert and skip the meal.

Nice location on 72nd, with relaxing atmosphere. We like the glassed in seating and the salad I ordered was delicious, but nothing beats a few bites of their cheesecake together with a cup of coffee. All the same, I still miss The Famous Restaurant on 72nd (and Ratner's even more).
