A supper not to be forgotten, Dtarting with fabulous olive oil and balsamic vinegar, Multiple dishes, from starters through deserts, which were all no less than amazing. Summing it up..... Pure joy! Highly recommended!

Tables are too small, restaurant is crowded and lacking in ambiance. There are so many better choices for Italian in the area that it is hard to get excited about this place. Melon with prosciutto was dry (admittedly off season for melon) and Caesar with salmon was mediocre at best. Tiramisu was a treat but all-in-all I would choose someplace... More

Nice place for lunch not too loud. In the heart of midtown. Staff very nice and attentive with nice choices of homemade pastas.

Excellent fod with very good service. Papardelle outstanding -- large portion. Carpacio and fried calamari delicious (with some shriimp in with the Calamari. Ben Hur, our waiter, was attentive yet not "dull". RElatively quiet restaurant with lovely outdoor settings if the weather is good. We've been three times and enjoyed each time.... Eggplant parmigiana good but a little too much... More

The staff at our hotel (The Hilton Midtown) recommended Bistro Milano. We went for dinner. The rissoto special was outstanding. The steak frites was very good. And we topped off the meal with a creme brulee. Yummy.

Are here because it was the closest high end Italian Bistro to our hotel the night we arrived in NYC. What a delightful surprise. The service could not be more warm and attentive. The food was uniformly well prepared and delicious with the seasonal pumpkin ravioli being superb. Thoroughly enjoyable dinner. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Place was pretty empty - maybe NYC marathon was the reason. Food was fine (Eggs royal) and service was very good. Just wish they had a larger crowd.

My husband and I ate a lovely meal last night, prior to seeing "Something Rotten." We enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass and Veal. The sea bass was a hit, the veal less than amazing. I have to comment on the very professional service. Worth the expense.

My sister and I took our parents here to celebrate their 65th Wedding Anniversary! We had a wonderful meal, and our server, Ben-Hur was charming. The scallops were tender and delectable. The salmon was cooked to perfection. When Ben-Hur, learned of our special occasion, he treated us to lemoncello digestivos after dinner. We dined early before a Broadway show, and... More

Seven of us went here for dinner. Prices are reasonable, especially for New York. I had a spaghetti bolognese, Creme brûlée and glass of cab. All were average. Everyone else enjoyed their meals a lot - especially the two people who ordered salmon.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
