We are coming here for many years for our daily breakfast when we are in NYC! The service is great & friendly! The food is great & the prices are good (just some items like the fresh orange juice is overvpriced) We love the Theater...Row DinerMore

Clean diner- sat at the counter and the waiter recommended the chicken platter. It was ok and came with a drink, side of coleslaw and french french fries for around $11.00.

I ate here twice during my New York stay, once for lunch and once at dinner time, prior to the theatre. I was impressed both times, with the food, the service and the value for money. The dinner specials were especially good, a generous serve...of relatively plain but tasty food and with plenty of vegetables. I was made to feel welcome.More

We stopped here to grab a quick bite before seeing a show at stage 42 right next door. They seem to have a ton of options from breakfast to dinner. We just got an appetizer to share. The food came quick which was good since...we didn’t have a super long time before the show started. It took a little while to get the waitresses’ attention to get the check but besides that everything was good. It’s a good spot for a quick bite if you’re seeing a show at stage 42.More

Went before a show with my wife and another couple. The food came cold. The soup and the main courses had to be sent back to heat up. The service was good. The atmosphere was diner. The location was next door to the theater.

This was just a few yards down 42nd street from our hotel. I’ve been here before & it remains an excellent place for any meal at any time of the day. Very clean with very nice staff who explain any unusual items and quickly deal...with it. Food arrives pretty fast and hot. My favourite meal here is breakfast, the toast and coffee never stop. It is busy, with cops in the back tables on their breaks and people coming in for take out orders. Turn up hungry as the portions are huge but fairly priced.More

We dined here a few times during our recent trip, two sit ins and a take away. It was on our third and ultimately final visit that really disappointed us. The food was good overall however when we were leaving on our final visit, as...it was so cold outside (it is December after all!) 2 of the 4 in our group were putting scarfs, hats and coats, etc, we had asked for the bill and had put more than enough to cover the bill and a good tip on the table. One of the waiters came over and counted the money in front of us, blocking my partner from leaving while saying no tip included pointing at my wife and then the money. He then recounted it and said oh, sorry, see you tomorrow. He was very accusing and rude, making a scene which we all found embarrassing. He was then very presumptuous in assuming we would be back, the apology we received was not genuine and stopped us returning.More

We came at 6 pm and informed the receptionists that we had a 7 pm curtain at the theatre next door. “Not a problem,” she said, and she was right. My wife had penne with sweet sausage; I had a Reuben sandwich. Both were tasty....Recommended.More

I'm unsure about breakfast. We had lunch and dinner only but it was very good. I highly recommend the cheese cake. It is some of the best I've ever had.
