Delicious lunch meal with exceptional service. We were seated immediately and tended to often throughout the meal (but not overbearingly). Calamari and Market Crepe starters were fresh and did not disappoint. The pad Thai, roasted duck curry, and mossaman chicken were delicious and fresh. Accompanied by the community DJ across the street, the meal experience was excellent!

We popped in here Christmas Eve for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Great Thai food, good selection, casual atmosphere and nice dining experience. Not the fanciest place but if you want good Thai food, this is a good place to start.

Met family members here - looking to eat outdoors, have reasonable prices and godo vegetarian entrees, so this fit the bit. We all enjoyed the meal and the service was friendly. Would recommend.

We were staying at the hostel on Amsterdam so it was a quick walk here. A local bartender recommended this food as we just needed something to end our busy day.
I got the chicken skewers and my friend went with a curry and rice. It was just the right amount of food for just before bed. They were just closing but were very accommodating getting us the food to go.

tl;Dr: The staff here are petty and spiteful. Do NOT go here. I will never go back to this restaurant, and I will advise every one I know against dining here.
My friend and I ate lunch in Thai Market's outdoor dining area on 9/25/22 around 2PM. The meal was fine; however, we had a strange and extremely off-putting interaction with the staff.
At the end of our meal, my friend and I each took rapid COVID tests because we were meeting up with another friend later in the afternoon. We were sitting in their outdoor dining area, so I took our tests and disposed of them in a trash can inside the restaurant.
A few minutes later, one of the waitresses came outside carrying the trash can. In front of the other patrons, she waved the trash can in our face and scolded us for throwing our COVID tests into the trash can. Apparently, we were supposed to place the tests in a smaller bag, and throw that bag into the trash can(?)
We immediately apologized. Minutes later, as we were leaving the restaurant the waitress walked up to us again, blocked us from exiting the outdoor dining area, forced us to take a paper bag containing our COVID tests, and told us to throw it away some place else. Peaking through the restaurant windows, I saw that the other waiting staff were glaring at us.
This behavior is appalling.
(1) If the staff were so concerned about the risk of COVID, why wasn't anyone wearing a mask? NONE of the waitstaff were masked. I hope they understand that they are MUCH more likely to acquire COVID through airborne-transmission than from a used COVID test that is sitting in their trashcan.
(2) Why did they wave a trash can in our face, in front of all the other patrons?
(3) If they are so concerned about the infectious risk from our discarded COVID tests, why did they PICK THROUGH THE TRASH just so that they could give us our tests back in a doggy bag?
My experience left a sour taste in my mouth. The staff made my friend and I feel absolutely humiliated.

Thai food heaven! If craving for thai food, come here and you will be satisfied!
Location: It is located in Amsterdam Ave. It is near Mount Sinai St. Lukes, so quick way to go if you are craving for Thai food. The restaurant is quite huge, plenty of seats but I stayed in the bar cause I went by myself.
Service: The girl in the bar is super nice, she keeps asking me if I need anything. So sweet!
Food: I went here for lunch so I ordered their lunch special which is $9.95 for 1 appetizer and 1 main course. SPRING ROLL: it is so crispy and it is vegetable inside, I got two which is perfect so it is not overwhelming, the sauce tho could be better. PAD THAI: omg it was good, better than in Thailand! Lol I got shrimp and there is like 4 huge shrimps in there! Yum! THAI ICED COFFEE: it was so good! Taste bitter at first but when u mixed it, omg soo delicious!
Price rating: 5/10, not bad for lunch.
OMG I will definitely go back here to try their other food! Definitely try Pad Thai and their Iced Coffee!

Lovely place especially for students on the budget. Portions are gigantic for hungry people of the mind. :) Definately a go to for families. Very friendly stuff!

The food, the service, and the atmosphere are all very good. With wall-size photos of Thai street food eateries and similarly its tables and chairs, the place strives for as much Bangkok authenticity as one could expect in Manhattan.

The menu is extensive. The flavors are well developed and diverse, super lively combos. Lots of things to choose for vegetarians. Many different combos of spices and sauces.
The atmosphere is not relaxing. I am "older" - middle aged to be exact, and I found it a bit difficult to hold a conversation here over all the noise. That be said, the "noise" was coming from young locals who were clearly enthusiastic and enjoying their food and time together. So, it's not them, it's me. I'm just at an age where I like a little less action with my food.
Plenty of action IN the food with a menu all over the place. Vegetables, chicken, beef, sauces. All you could hope for from a Thai restaurant. Nice quality.
Our service was fine. One or two waiters was working the whole room, but everything got to us fine. Other reviewers mentioned feeling "rushed" but I would not be keen to linger in a place this loud anyway.
One caveat, if you have dietary restrictions, this place is not for you. They are way too busy to avoid cross contamination. Although it is possible to choose a dish with no apparent allergens ( such as gluten, or dairy, or nuts), they never claim to be a safe space. Fair play. If you're reading this paragraph, then you already know, if you have to ask, then it's not safe enough.
This is a home run for lively people with no food issues. Enjoy if you are one of those!

I love going here, this place is perfect for a quick midweek meal. I love the green curry, and the portions are so big that I can take the second half home and have it the next day (my boyfriend eats it all at once though). The service is very fast, which is perfect if you already know what you want, otherwise it can feel a bit pressured.

I've been ordering from this great little gem for years now. The food quality is good and they are usually quick to deliver.
Dining in the restaurant is fine, if sometimes a bit loud. The service is good and usually pleasant. I'm ordering in more often.
I'm particularly fond of their steamed thai dumplings, the chicken sate and the pad thai. Kow pad kana is good too. And the cherry on top is that their prices are more than reasonable.

after a very poor service, no smile, people served not at the same time and even one guest got his meal after everybody was finished,
they had the nerves of putting a tip on the bill of 20% on tax and beverages.wich is 1, illegal, second arbitrary and above all not deserved at all.
beside the food was far for real thai food if you even been there. i grew up in thailande and beleve me this is not it!

The marinated steak is very good. Get the Mushroom rice with it. The steak comes with some cabbagey greens and an incendiary (sort of inedible) green sauce. The pad thai is really disappointing, though, which is sad for a Thai restaurant. We get it delivered, maybe the chicken isn't as overcooked as if you eat there. The soups are terrific.

We did a dinner take away. My favorite soup is Tom Yam Goong - it was different from what I have experienced before but still excellent. The Skirt Steak was a bit chewy for me. All other dishes were very good.
Preparation was very quick and the food was very good.
