The food was very good and creative too! I had some sort of curry with chicken, potatoes, avocado. I can't remember the name of the dish but it was very good!! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and it was very busy when we went there but the staff managed to find us a table anyway. The crowd seems to... More

My wife and I had landed in New York at 8 AM and been on the go all day. It was pretty cold that day in lower Manhattan and we needed some good food that warmed us up and wasn't too far from the apartment we were staying at on Broadway above the 100s. A quick search turned up Thai... More

Very good food. Reminded me of the Thai food I eat when traveling in Asia. The chicken larb was one of the best I have had-very spicy! My partner had duck which was a generous portion and well prepared. Small but good selection of wines by the glass. The Riesling was perfect with the food. We went late afternoon and... More

Great atmosphere, whether you dine with company or solo. You can usually never go wrong here - everything on the menu is tasty and scrumptious! Lunch special is a great deal: from noon until 3:30pm. My favorite dish here is the mock-duck basic. I especially enjoy the "nam pla" (chilies in fish sauce), which adds some extra spice if you... More

AWFUL. I ordered 4 dishes. Every dish tastes the same--much too sweet and too salty. The shrimp in the pad se-ew was mushy, i.e., not fresh. There were 5 slivers of Chinese broccoli in it. The daikon radish cake was cut up into little pieces. Exactly the same seasoning and crude oversweet and oversalty seasoning as the pad se-ew. The... More

I would highly recommend Thai Market - the service was quick and friendly, the food was amazing (in fact the best pad thai I've ever had - and I've had quite a few!) and it was a good price. Will definitely visit again!

I've been on a Pad Thai kick of late. Walking down Amsterdam Avenue after a class at Columbia University, Thai Market beckoned with a pleasing atmosphere, outdoor seating, and alluring aromas. While not the best Pad Thai I have ever eaten, Thai Market's Pad Thai dish was tasty, ample, though with more bean sprouts than expected and not enough peanut... More

Great Thai restaurant. The pad Thai ad the Massaman chicken were excellent. Good service and environment.

Visited Thai Market with my wife. It was busy but we found a place quickly. The service is efficient. The food was terrific and the spicyness was as we ordered! Recommend this place if you are into Thai food.

Try the lunch special at Thai Market. For $9.50 you get an appetizer and a main. I ordered spring roles for my appetizer and Green Curry with Chicken for my main - both were delicious. My wife had a dish with flat noodles that she really liked, too. The restaurant has a lot of tables and the service is good.... More
