Visited Gazala Place after seeing it on a list of locations featured on "Guy's Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives." We were in NYC for 4 days and this was by far the best food we had. The restaurant is extremely small, but we were seated...More

We only found this place on a "Ziggy food tour", we would probably never have gone in otherwise. We saw the owner, Gazala, who apparently is Russian, making extremely thin flatbreads by hand. She makes it looks so easy and is very fast. We all...More

Started with Boureka's (spanakopita like with goat cheese, spinach baked)- excellent. Had a salad & baba ghanouj(eggplant based) & hummus. Great food at decent prices.

Amazing dinner! Loved the grape leaves and bread stuffed with goat cheese. Service was prompt and courteous. They don't take Amex.

Stopped for lunch. Wife had bureka - looks like fluffy oversize bagel ,but was flakey and filled with feta and spinach, served with a corn salad and wonderful hummus, and it was great. I had lunch special - lamb wrap, lentil soup, and chopped tomato-onion...More

The food was terrific, a great little spot in Hell's Kitchen. The waitress left you a little cold but the food was great!!
