There isn't really much to say other than that if you want good food, you're coming to the wrong place. You come to Smoke for the atmosphere and, obviously, the music and unfortunately on my visit both those things lacked a little. The bar was half empty for most of the night and the band, while good, chose very similar... More

If you are looking to do something special for yourself, go to the Smoke Jazz Club on a Sunday and have a delicious brunch with delicious jazz! It was a real treat. They have several sets. We went to the first set and it was terrific!

My wife took me to Smoke for my BD and the jazz was great (a wonderful live performance by Gregory Generet), the service great and the food delicious. The reservation is for a jazz set, and the fixed price dinner was around $38.00 per person. I had the best honey fried chicken I've ever had, and the steak my wife... More

Every time I'm in New York City I spend an evening at Smoke listening to jazz. The intimate room and the great musicians are two of the reasons; the third is that a woman, accompanied or by herself, can be there in complete comfort. I was there this trip with my adult son. We sat at the bar and ordered... More

Booked for one of the jazz sessions and evening dinner. Lovely intimate venue, quite small but great views of the stage and the band. Food was very good - we had the prix-fixe menu which was really good value. The jazz was OK but maybe not quite to our taste - nevertheless it was a great experience and all in... More

Really loved the intimacy and friendliness at Smoke. Tables are very close together and we enjoyed chatting with the people on either side before and after the terrific jazz set. Would go frequently except that in addition to the jazz charge, you are required to purchase one main course per person, so it adds up.

Really nice atmosphere, small place but perfect for really enjoying the food and music. Rather inexpensive for the quality of the music, service and food. Would definitely recommend- perfect way to escape the busy city.

The club was intimate and relaxed. The staff very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was good if a little expensive. Overall a great night out.
