Pizza was $32, which seemed high to us. We choose 3 slices for $17 and got to pick different kinds. Delicious topping with light flaky crust...outstanding. Our daughter had half meat ball plate with 3 large meatballs covered in tomato sauce for $7. Right near Chelsea Market and Hy-line. Cannot wait to go back..this is better than Sallie's or Pepe's... The artichoke pizza is to die for. I travelled from NJ but my relatives travelled from Limerick Ireland just to have a slice... it's the most incredible taste... rich, creamy, slight taste of lemon with the Artichokes. My mouth is watering... I really don'tlike the vegetable artichoke, but this changed my mind big time... gotta love it.

This was my first slice of NYC pizza, and now I'm almost scared to go anywhere else because I don't think another could compare. $5 for a huge slice (I was starving and still didn't finish it). I had the classic artichoke pizza, highly highly highly recommend!!!

You can't possibly describe this pizza to anyone who hasn't had it. The best i can do is explain that this is as creamy and delicious heart stoppingly good pizza that I have ever had. Don't get too much, it is heavy but so delicious. There just isn't anything like this anywhere, at least anywhere that i know of; and... More

Went here because of a self guided food tour of the west village that I found online. It recommended trying a slice of their speciality, artichoke pizza and it was delicious, unlike any other! Worth a visit to sample it!

Anytime anyone visits, I always take them to Artichoke. The one on 14th doesn't have much seating, but the one in Meatpacking does. The Artichoke pizza itself is HIGHLY recommended - so delicious! You can't visit NYC and not try this.

A NYC must! Their pizza is incredibly tasty and individual slices can be purchased for only $5. *Cash only I think. I tried the artichoke slice with a cream sauce...unique and flavorful. Generous portion size. The restaurant inside is charming. **Be aware** that it is frowned upon if you want to eat your pizza slice at one of the low... More

Great pizza, very tasty! Be aware though, we ordered a delivery and it took 1.5h to come so make sure you aren't hoping it will be with you asap.

just pure awesomeness. ive had the artichoke pizza and the clam pizza. both are delicious. The slices are HUGE - they feel like they weigh 5 lbs each!! its super filling, so I actually only eat half a slice and save the other half for later. The place is tiny - no where to eat. I think theres a restaurant... More

They're open to 4AM at the East 14th Street location. That's the first location. & only location of theirs that I have ever tried. They do have other locations. You have to try a slice of the artichoke pizza. It is HUGE! Funny thing is, as delicious as that is, I now tend to buy the amazingly, crispy & flavorful... More

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
