My family and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Londel's restaurant in NYC which is located on Fredrick Douglas Blvd. between 139th & 140th street. We had a very tasty buffet that included fried chicken, collard greens, potato salad and rolls.

It's been about 15 years since my college buddies and I had a reunion here and I was pleasantly surprised that the manager PERSONALLY welcomed me back. The pan seared salmon was very good and my server Nici was very cordial and attentive. There was live Jazz- the Towner Galaher Trio (really swinging group) that enhanced the experience. Stop by... we ate here on New Years Eve 2014. Restaurant was very quiet. Food was well priced - good portions and well presented. A great Harlem local restaurant.

Food was excellent and large portions. I ordered the pork chops and 2 were served. My husband had the ribs and it covered the plate. Reasonably priced for New York.

The evening started with a marvellous cocktail conjured up by Naz. We then had a very good meal and danced to the live jaz band. The staff were very friendly and the evening was well worth the trip to Harlem 142nd street

Our bus group organizer arranged for our dinner to be at Londel's Supper Club following the play. The private dining area was a bit small for the size of our group, as the aisle space in between the tables wasn't sufficient enough to allow a person to get up without causing everyone else to get up as well (especially if... Before going to Londel's, I read many positive reviews, and so many raved about the food. After going there myself, I can only guess that others may have had issues with their sense of taste on that particular day or they have never had an above average/great/incredible meal in their life. Mediocre? No, wouldn't even go that far. Why? Well,... More

A little hidden gem in Harlem. Not many at the hotel we were staying at was familiar with this spot when we were asking around about it trying to decide if we should go or not. Even people that said they lived in the area had not heard of the spot. Well, we went any way and was very glad... More
