My husband and I ate here last night and it was amazing. We started with the Spanish octopus, which was wonderfully cooked and on a cushion of equally yummy mashed potato. We then had the garlic shrimp (again masterfully cooked and so garlicky good) and...More

Second time there: still great. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a full meal of various tapas: the flatbread cocas are delicious (the mushroom and artichoke grart one is superb), so were the shrimp in garlic, and the dates wrapped in bacon... their cocktails were...More

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a cold day and were walking to get the boat for a trip down the Hudson. We asked if we could just have drinks and they said no problem but on seeing the tapas going to other tables decided...More

An Authentic Taste of Andalusian Amada is an Andalusian tapas bar and restaurant in a contemporary setting in the thriving neighborhood of Battery Park in Downtown New York City.Chef Jose Garces embraces the rich traditions of Spanish gastronomy while incorporating modern tapas. Offering unique signature dishes available only in NYC, like our whole roasted suckling pig, we do feature classic staples of Philadelphia's Amada. Amada offers an extensive wine list of completely Spanish wines , including two wines "from the barre", seasonal sangria and traditional Spanish cocktails. A highlight is our Gin&Tonics with exotic tonic waters and garnishes. With private and semi-private dining options, Amada is the perfect place for your next event. Amada's café, Amadita, serves coffee, pastries and a selection of grab and go lunch items, such as empanadas and bocadillos.
