Restaurants come and go, menus change daily - but not this spot! I've been coming to this hole in the wall since 2006 and it's still one of my favorite places to eat in the city. They've renovated since then and have more space, but it's still the same restaurant. Friendly staff and excellent food.

Delicious Quinoa salad!!! Charming atmosphere with friendly staff. We enjoyed our lunch while taking a break from exploring the Nolita area.

I had heard Aussie style coffee had started to reach New York and after a few really bad coffees was relieved to find it on visit. Visited twice for breakfast. Coffee is really good and they make flat whites just like home. Great food (including vegemite toast) and really friendly service. Always a good sign on our second visit was... More

this is a great place to have breakfast, brunch, coffee or whatever. They have an espresso machine and know how to use it. The Staff are friendly and always a clean place.

Tried this out for dinner on a weeknight while in the area. Assumed it was good as it seemed pretty crowded. Wouldn't say I was disappointed in the burger I ate but it wasn't something that would bring me back. Decent food for the price and nice vibrant ambiance made for a nice meal.

We were looking for some nice pasta in Little Italy when we stumbled onto this little funky cafe. Fantastic quality food, good price, nice vibe and some cool Australian touches; "From little things big things grow", Bundaberg ginger beer, and Coopers.

Food was delicious and service was nice. The area was really cool too. The restaurant is small and may share a table with someone, but there is obviously a reason it was packed at 2:30 on a Tuesday afternoon!

Just happen to find this place up the street from our hotel. The restaurant looks like it's in what used to be a garage. Cute, small place with a great menu full of healthy choices. My friend had the museli which she said was filling. I just simply had eggs but they were good. Service was quick and friendly. Small... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighborhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighborhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighborhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
