I had a creamy chicken pasta and it was super tasty. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Burgers looked really good too!

We went to Ruby's for lunch and they were full at the time. The lady asked us to give her our mobile number and would call when the taqble became free. We went to the locar bar and 15 minutes later we were in. We all had burgers and the 2 options of sweet potato and potato fries. I had... More

A small and busy restaurant in Nolita. Went here for lunch but didn't have to wait too long for a table. We had a burger, vegetarian burger and chicken pasta and we were all very satisfied with our dishes. The burgers (both vegetarian as well as original) were among the best we tasted during our stay in N.Y (and there... More

As an Australian I'd heard about this place so had to visit! It really is a hole in the wall cafe but manages to handle the crowd & meal service very well. It is a casual bistro vibe, heaving with people and a a queue. We went for lunch, cheekily with baby in tow, and after a 15 minute wait... More

Fell into this place when eating across the street. It's a great little eatery with some solid food! Waiter was awesome, aussie, and friendly - win/win! Food was really good, and the wait time wasn't too bad. overall good experience!

We picked this place for location and Breakfast menu. The food was very good. The service below par and no coffee refills. The coffee also not good and well below MacDonalds. Overall a little disappointing.

I just came back from (the most amazing) a year abroad in Melbourne Australia so upon restaurant searching and discovering this place was American/Aussie food I was determined to pay a visit! Came tonight on my last night of a vacation in New York City with my dad. We arrived at 8:30pm and were told we needed to wait around... More

The place is tiny, and you may have to wait - but it is well worth it. The Bronte burger was excellent, great taste and original (on a firm ciabatta-like bread that does not flatten to nothing when moist). Quality meat, cooked to perfection, very tasty.

The cafe already had me cause it's an Australian establishment succeeding in The Big Apple (respect), but once seated and settled in, the cracks showed. The service isn't poor, but it has a long way to go. The menu was simple and not overly memorable but the coffee was amazing. Overall it was a nice experience, but there is room... More

Great place for breakfast. Good service a friendly staff. Enjoyed watching a local be tempted to try that Aussie great Vegemite, his expression was priceless. Good value for money

Staying in Nolita

Neighborhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighborhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighborhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
