Folks, it's breakfast, and $22.00 for a short stack of cakes is a little over the top but it is New York and real estate is expensive and Central Park is just over there and limos and people and you get the idea. We had flap jacks and eggs and bacon and granola and some really good coffee. I think... More

We ate here for brunch. We actually got there on a Saturday morning around 10:15 and it was perfect timing. We were sat within 10 minutes of our arrival. When we left around 11:30 when the crowd had picked up. Our waitress was great and the food was very good. It was on the pricey side but we were looking... More

Very pricey. Average tasting food. Wait staff not especially friendly. Room decor just average. Not recommended.

Just had most delicious eggs Benedict at Sarabeths plus coffee. Great location, very friendly, efficient staff. A lovely way to end our trip to New York. Lunch menu also looks great.

Great location and atmosphere. French toast was very thick so too much bread vs the topping for me. Very clean and good service.

As tourists we found Sarabeth's to be a refreshing stop for a late lunch after a busy day shopping and touring in the area. While a limited menu it did have some unique items. (Certainly freshly made. ) Great location near the Plaza hotel and Central park.

Wide choice of eggs, oatmeals, and sweet options. I did not regret my chooce of egg whites with goat cheese and spinach with a side of scone. Nice seating on the walkway with a view on Central Park. Very good service.

Lost count of how many times we have been here now - huge portions, fabulous French toast and crispy bacon, accompanied by a cocktail or two. Why wouldn't you!

Sarabeth's on CentralPark South has lovely outdoor seating right across from the park, but it is busy and somewhat noisy with all the people, car traffic and horses and buggies. This was our second visit to this restaurant and this time, we were very disappointed in the food. My husband's steak was tough and the accompanying fries were stuck in... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
