Nice little restaurant recommended by a local. We enjoyed a pleasant lunch , with champagne. The menu is not cheap but the food and service is good. Seems to be quite popular.

My husband and I were ending our Anniversary Celebration in NYC, and decided to eat at Sarabeth's. We went to the Central Park South Location in order to get back to our car and head home. The restaurant was packed, but we were lucky enough to snag a table outside within seconds. The Pancake with Strawberries was great, and my... More

My daughter and I ate breakfast here two consecutive days this week. On our first visit we really enjoyed our breakfast. I had the pancakes which were excellent. The service was spot on. We loved it. The next day we came back and had a different server who got both of our orders wrong and was extremely slow. So the... More

I have a client who is a chef, a TV chef, we wanted to talk over breakfast and he suggested Sarabeth's because he had a taste in his mouth for waffles. I am usually a savory breakfast eater, eggs to be exact but when I saw the Lemon and Ricotta Pancakes ($20) I was in. Strangely, my client went to... More

Sarabeth's is known for their breakfast and this location did not disappoint. As I find with many restaurants, the portions are quite large. Sarabeth's has great, tasty pancakes-so if you have a child with you, you may want to share that order. For dinner, an appetizer (chips & crab guacamole) and a main dish was enough for two people. There... More

My wife and I had lunch here a few days ago. I had reviewed the menu in advance and was excited to try the food. My wife loved her salmon, but I was underwhelmed by my pasta and meatballs. This was my mistake because I should not have ordered an Italian dish at a non-Italian restaurant. The service was very... More

Was staying at the Park Lane and very tired from a long day of business so didn't feel lke looking for a place. This was the first place I saw do I gave it a try without even checking Travel Advisor (I never do this). Turned out to be a great choice. The Beet and Apple salad with riled chicken... More

We waited over 20 minutes for our order (one waffle). It was delicious but a bit pricey....$30 for one waddle and two teas.

We had both Sunday brunch and a late-night dinner here during our 3 day trip to NYC! Fabulous food, incredibly efficient staff given the number of customers - was pretty crowded for brunch, but the staff handled it well.

Recommended for brunch. Great drinks. Excellent food. Super quick service. I had the short rib hash with tomatillo salsa - outstanding. Food came less than 10 min after ordering / even though the place was slammed busy. Bustling atmosphere - but friendly service.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
