A friend recommended Jimmy's for cocktails. What a great place, right out of old New York. Very small, very local and very friendly. Paige took great care of us, Jimmy came over to say hello, the cocktails were spot on and the price was remarkably old school. The walls are covered with Jimmy's days gone bye boxing photos. This place... More

Great service. Great atmosphere. Great prices. Great company and staff! Will recommend to anyone visiting. It's a gem in the city and a real must go to bar. Great for boxing fans especially!

Times Sq area. Small bar selling beers $3.50. Can get crowded but a great bar with friendly staff. After being charged $16 for two beers at a so called Irish bar nearby Jimmy's was a breath of fresh air. Nearest thing to a British Pub I found in NYC.

Situated in side street of Times Square, recommended by a family member and definitely worth a visit. Staff friendly and locals chat away. You will pay about a third of the price for a drink here compared to other bars and the company is great. If you want s flashy bar this isn't the place to go, but if you... More

You wouldn't expect to find a friendly neighborhood dive bar right by Times Square, but that is exactly how this place feels. Even though I was there with a big group and we arrived on a Thursday night at peak hours, and even though the place is long, narrow, and crowded, we still found some room to hang out. Staff... We were recommended this bar by the staff in the hotel and ended up visiting every day of our stay. It is located just off Times Square and offers affordable drinks in a bar with great boxing memorabilia.

A stand out of our trip to NYC. A cosy bar full of old fight posters and memorabila, coupled with a great drink selection at the most reasonable prices we found in Manhattan. I could have stayed here for days!! Jimmy was a great host and was happy to put our own boxing club badge on the wall to add... More

Reasonable drink prices, different types of people, interesting stuff on the walls, it was by far the best bar I found. If I ever go back to NYC (if I get forced to go) I'll be back in Jimmy's!

Wonderful staff, brilliant jukebox (none of your up to date, over played "music") and excellent prices. Definitely worth a visit 😉

As per all the other reviews, Jimmy's Corner is a dive bar near Times Square. If you like that sort of environment (I do) - it was ace! Considering our location, we had a few pints and a few G&Ts for next to nothing.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
