You know what, don't you? I love that place. I found it over Google Maps. It's simply great. The staff is great, very fast and friendly. You find locals, as well as tourists in there. An advice for the tourists, have your ID everytime with you (always in the US). They will check your age! Don't discuss, simply show it.... More

Visiting TS and found this little gem, wonderful service, inexpensive alcohol. Couldn't ask for more. Felt just like home.

Stumbled across this place on a Monday night and the place was packed not surprised when I saw how cheap the drinks were ended up staying all night. You could stay in here just looking at all the boxing paraphernalia on the walls. Recommend the place a million miles away from the Times Square madness.

Traveled to New York for a stopover for a couple of days on the way to Rio due to the searing heat we stopped for a drink in a couple of over priced poor quality "Irish" bars around times Square (avoid at all cost!). On our last day, we searched on line for a good value bar around Times Square... More

If u like boxing and cheap booze this is your bar! Jimmy Glenn is a renown trainer is often seen inside greeting guests and has many great pics and memorabilia on the walls including a lot of Muhammad Ali. It's a great bar to get away from all the tourists!!

Jimmys corner is a small bar located close to Times Square and it's a great little by full of boxing memorabilia and it has a friendly atmosphere. The virus small and narrow but has a friendly feeling and the drinks very cheap compared to a lot of bars in the area. We were buying Budweiser stubbies for 7 USD for... More

If you ache for NYC of the 70's, 80's or even 90's give Jimmy's a visit. An old school NYC bar. Some would say dive bar but that isn't accurate. It is long and narrow. Dark wooden bar in the front, just enough room to squeeze by to maybe a dozen two top wooden tables in the back. Bottles of... More

Fantastic atmosphere and great service. Will be returning. I liked how fast my drinks were served and the lady who served them was knowledgeable and friendly.

We were recommended this bar and being a boxing fan I was really looking forward to it. On arrival the young barmaid was snappy and unfriendly. This was an immediate put off so we had one drink (fast) and left. Won't be back.

If you are fed up with expensive drinks and posh cocktail bars, then Jimmy's Corner is your kind of place. The drinks a very cheap and the staff is friendly. It is not a big place, so it gets easily crowded. It seems to have both tourists and locals and a fare share of interesting characters. It is definitely worth... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
