The place was very small but I guess that’s the typical NYC settings. The sushi was amazing and the fried rice was so good even my 18 month old twins ate it. The staff was friendly and the menu has a variety of sushi and...other dishes to pick from. You won’t have a problem finding something you likeMore
Love this place! Was here twice in 2016. Has not changed--still amazing. A group of 4 of us was seated immediately on Friday night. Loved the lychee martinis! loved the fresh oysters! The sushi as great. The create your own meals were excellent! You pick...a meat, 1-4 vegetables, and a sauce (basil, red curry, etc.). I had shrimp in basil sauce with red peppers, yellow squash, eggplant and onion. The waitress was always handy.More
Great lunch! Portions were massive and the food was great! Only negative was the tables were quite close to each other. I wanted to go a second time on my trip but didn’t get the chance! Hitting this place up next time I’m here!
In Times Square for a Broadway play, solo, and wanted dining with some style, preferably Asian, not fast food or a chain. An'nam presents with a welcoming atmosphere, decor is spare with clean lines, spacious and comfortable, appealing for one or a group. Spring rolls...were presented with lovely garnishes, and a small bowl of Pho (also available large) was nicely seasoned, flavorful. A satisfying visit.More
We had the seafood noodle soup which was bland but had fresh ingredients. We had the dynamite maki roll which was flavorful but a little Americanized with heavy ingredients. A good late evening bite to eat.
Visited this restaurant based on TA reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was great. We had sushi, sake, steamed dumplings and crispy noodles with chicken, shrimp and veggies. Oh, and let's not forget Sapporo. Very happy with the food. Service was great. Only...2 or 3 other tables being used so we received lots of attention. The night we visited was unseasonably warm, 60+ degrees on a Sunday evening in January. The restaurant was very warm, too warm. We were so hot! They opened the front door a few times to let in the cool breeze but it wasn't enough. My friend was sitting on the padded seat/booth and the seat was radiating heat from the lighted wall behind it. We were told there was nothing they could do. It was understandable due to the high temps outside but that is the only downside to our visit.More
Fairly spacious seating and well decorated. The staff was excellent. Consistently refilled water and inquired whether we had time constraints which we did and then worked to assure we finished in a timely manner. The food was very good - avocado roll, cucumber roll, vegetables...and tofu in a brown sauce. The pricing was very good for NY. Recommend giving this a try when in the area.More
We stumbled across this place whilst looking for the subway to get out of the rain and cold and it was our best find ever! The sign on their door said Vietnamese and Japanese which is a an odd sort of combination but they do both...cuisines superbly. Their gourmet sushi rolls were fantastic as was their udon and pho! Delicious satisfaction to please all 7 family members!More
