Some of the best food I have had in this area. Gluten- free pizzas are available, as well as delectable pastries. The salad was fresh and rich in vegetables. The outside patio is inviting, with shade provided by trees growing through the deck.

We went to this little local bakery hoping for a nice breakfast but they only serve pizza as 'meal food' and only after 11am. We decided to take advantage of being there early (they open at 7am) and looked through the bakery case. Fresh biscotti, cinnamon swirls and lots of other goodies. We picked a few things to take with... More

Scones always remind me of Monty Python's "Lumberjack" song. "On Wednesdays I go shopping and have buttered scones for tea." We visited FRVillage Bakery on a Saturday, and the scones were outrageous! We also shared a dark chocolate brownie. I prefer dark roast coffee and they were out, but the light roast was fine. Our mid-morning visit was the prelude... More

This place is super cute and just lovely. They have an outside seating area with wooden tables and a big tree, it's so nice. The staff is wonderful and the food is great. They have a lot of fresh baked goods, and the salads are outstanding! I went there for lunch and it was great. I highly recommend it.

They serve great snacks and coffee. Self service joint. You dine on the patio under a tree or under the roof. Prices are reasonable.

This bakery is the best I have ever found. It offers artisan breads that are excellent. We love to buy the Ciabatta bread and make French toast. What a wonderful treat for weekends. Their cranberry and apricot scones are heavenly. They can't keep them in the store. These scones just fly out the door they are so popular. The bakery... More

Great tea and coffee. Good place for breakfast/brunch. Cinnamon Rolls must try! Very delicious but sort of hard to find from the road.

We had read the good reviews about Flat Rock Village Bakery and headed there to give it a try. I had a very good chicken caesar salad and my husband had a sandwich. We both enjoyed brewed unsweetened tea. After polishing off lunch, the chocolate chip cookies were calling, so we headed back to the counter to order a big... More
