We were entertaining guests who are planning to move to the area from Houston. We have eaten here in the past and had excellent meals. Tonight was a disaster. We waited over 45 minutes from the time we ordered until our meals arrived. The food...had reached room temperature, was poorly presented, the salmon was overcooked and dry ( my wife had ordered a medium doneness.) The shrimp on the two lobster ravioli orders were also overcooked and both orders were cold. We expect more from a restaurant with entrees ranging from $30-$49. While we had not complained the server made an attempt on her own to salvage the whole experience by discounting the checks 10%......100% would have been a more honest gesture.More

My husbands steak was not cooked evenly but was delicious, my pork chop was delicious but had a bit too much sauce. The cauliflower with Asiago cheese was so good. The...Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée was wonderful, go for that and coffee if you don’t go tor anything else!More

We have enjoyed several holiday buffets but today was a super bust. They ran out of food. No shrimp, no gumbo, under cooked sprouts and undercook beans. Heard the chef tell the carver to slice thin as that was the last brisket. And we had...a 1:00 reservation. Not returning for a while and looking for a new brunch location.More

We (retired couple) have had lunch at Seasons several times when we were in the Flat Rock area. It's a very charming, relaxing setting and it always seems like a treat to go there. Service is very friendly and reasonably paced. Most times, our food...has been good to very good. This last time, my wife ordered the salmon grilled cheese, and asked for cibiatta instead of rye, which they gladly accomodated. She said her salmon sandwich was excellent, as was the buttermilk ranch on the accompanying salad. I, for some reason, thought this would be a good time to try the huevos rancheros, as opposed to a quiche or a turkey club. I should have left my last fond memories of huevos rancheros (from a trip to Santa Fe) alone, as the Seasons version of this dish should properly be pronounced "who-voes ranch-a-rows" -- it was served barely warm and had absolutely no spice. The black bean "dip" that came with it, was basically a black sauce with some thick gooey spots in it, again with zero flavor. But the chips were fresh, the potatoes were ok. The best part of my meal was the pinot grigio. My advice is, enjoy the scenery, stick with the sandwiches -- and save the huevos for a southwest restaurant.More

Have been here many times over the years but something was not right in the kitchen this night, I ordered the Lamb shoulder and it came out like it was cooked in a crock pot, shredded like BBQ and had NO flavor. Not sure what...was wrong but not good. My wife had the same experience with the Salmon, The fish came out fine but was surrounded by so much other food with a sauce it ruined the Salmon entree. My brother and I had dinner at your restaurant on Christmas Eve. The atmosphere was festive and the food was good. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient and we left her a generous tip. However, as my brother noted in his review entitled "Disappearing Desserts,"...when we had finished our meal and returned to the dessert table, there were no pies and cakes as promised on the menu for the evening. It was late, perhaps 8:45, and I suspect that there were no more than 25 diners left at their tables. There were several other people who appeared behind us, looking for the pies and cakes but, like us, they were disappointed to find only cookies and brownies and Danish pastries that had been cut into pieces and heaped onto trays. Your response to my brother's review, was an apology for the "lack of variety." This was not an accurate description of what happened. It was late; there were lots of people that night; and you had probably run out of desserts. I would have appreciated your honesty and am put off by your mischaracterization of what happened. Another issue is that my brother and I are senior citizens and we were not given the Senior Discount promised on your $52.00 menu. We still have our receipt, You could, at least, make that right. We are local residents, not tourists, and have patronized the restaurant for many years. We understand that we were there on a busy evening in the middle of a pandemic, but we do ask you to be honest with us.More

My sister and I were looking forward to Christmas Eve dinner here. We remembered an excellent Thanksgiving dinner years ago. The atmosphere, music and food did not disappoint. As I walked through the scrumptious buffet line for the main course I eyed the equally inviting...dessert table with a myriad of pies and assorted delights. After a leisurely meal we returned to the buffet area for dessert. But, alas, the dessert table was empty and all that remained were chocolate chip cookies and breakfast Danish pastries. Several other guests joined us in our shock. Our protests to the staff resulted in a single pumpkin pie being produced. What could have been a wonderful (five star) experience turned into a disappointing dessert-less meal. I can't imagine how or why this happened - not something you'd expect in a restaurant of this caliber.More

We each ordered the bread service, my husband also had a cup of the cream of chicken soup and we each had a dessert (sweet potato cheesecake and apple gallete). He was attentive, personable and gave great service. We were back at the restaurant this morning for buffet breakfast as part of our stay in the Lodge. The food was excellent and there was a great variety. We look forward to coming back!More

My wife and I went to Seasons for lunch today and ended up leaving because we waited for 45 minutes without getting served. The restaurant was not busy. Our server took our simple order two pieces of quiche with side salads, an appetizer of sweet...potato fries and appetizer of the soup. A simple order that should not take long to prepare and serve. After more than 45 minutes we had not seen our appetizers, our soup or our server, I complained to the manager and she said it would be "just a minute", After a further delay, the server brought out the salad dressing and put it on the table (no salad or food) and asked if I wanted the soup first. She said the meals would be "right out we are only waiting for the sweet potato fries". We continued to wait without seeing any food. The service was so bad that we told the server that we were leaving and we won't go back.More
