We have eaten at Slackers Burger Joint on previous visits to Torrey. We didn’t feel like having an expensive meal and most of the prices were right. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. The fries were great. We loved our burgers. My only complaint was the cost of a beverage. I was in a bit of sticker shock when I was told that the Coke I was ordering was $4.50. I mentioned the high price to the guy behind the counter and he said they were refillable. So for me, $2.25 a cup. I don’t know why they charge so much for a beverage. At least there’s no tip to worry about. Dining experience was a pleasant 4.5, based upon cost, quality, and atmosphere.

This was my first time here and the lady taking the order was very friendly and walked me through the different options, which are a lot!!. I got the Bison burger with mushrooms, cooked onions, bacon and sweet potato fries. My wife got the crispy chicken sandwich with onion rings and we got the dogs the dog meal, which is a patty only type of thing. She said it was awesome. We got lunch there the next day. Great find in the Torrey area.

Finding Slack Burger was a great accident of our road trip. They have a sign saying they are 'Utah's 4th best family burger joint'. After eating at Slacker's Burgers twice I can't imagine that three places serve better food in the state. The service was polite, the food was prepaid quickly and most importantly it was tasty. The menu is a nice collection of burgers, sandwiches and salads, we went straight for the cheeseburgers. Hot, tasty and served on a very fresh bun with a side of crisp fries. I would definitely go back.

Do not go here. I ordered 4 medium soft serve ice cream cones. Each one cost $3.99. When we received the cones it looked like hard ice cream had melted in the freezer, they refroze it, then scraped it off the bottom and placed it on the cone. It was crystallized and barely even looked like ice cream. When I went back to get my money I was amazed at the fight the cashier gave me. The ice cream honestly looked like white dog vomit and he had the audacity to say that it was soft serve. He then said their soft serve machine was down and they bit the mix in the freezer and then scooped it out. If they will serve ice cream that looks that bad there is no telling where their patties have been before they arrive on your plate. Absolutely horrible. Do not go here.

I am a customer who had Gastric Bypass surgery in 2004. Since then I have only been able to eat kids meals at any establishment I go to. I have been coming to slackers for the last 13 years and have ordered a kids meal every time. Today I was told by the elderly lady cashiering at 2:15 pm today, 7/4/2022, that they do not allow it. I hate wasting good food, and Slackers has always been a favorite of ours. I am sorely disappointed in the service today and we will be finding other places to eat when we visit again Next year. We will also be letting our friends know to not return here as well. I would think your employees would take into consideration a person's medical condition and allow for a smaller meal to be ordered. Sad to see a good company lose business because of in consideration.

Stopped by on a 2 week trip through Utah. 3 of us had basic burgers frys and a soft drink. It cost $73 bucks almost $25 per meal meal for what amounts to a McDonalds single small fry and small drink. Insane. Eat at one of the food trucks in town !

There aren't many places to eat in Torrey, and apparently Slackers knows this. My $18 hamburger was meh at best. For that price, i was really hoping for something much better. I think most of their business comes from out of town tourists, and Slackers is just in it for the money, not the repeat business. Just sticking it to the tourists.

Absolutely terrible. Went in for ice cream, the guy barely gives us a glance and says we don't sell ice cream, in a very low and annoyed voice, although there are multiple signs that say they have ice cream, and they advertise that they have it. The problem was the nasty attitude and lack of care for customers. Slackers seems to employ slackers!

My wife and I had Mushroom Bacon Swiss hamburgers, and they were very good. It is served on homemade bread, and it comes to you hot off the grill. We both recommend it. I also ordered an order of "beer battered" onion rings. The order was small, and they were just ok. Two of the mushroom Bacon Swiss burgers (they come with fries), the small order of onion rings, and two medium soft drinks was $33.75.

Long lines, slow service and prices were high. My daughter has an egg allergy and we specifically asked for NO MAYO and the sandwich came and it had mayo. We asked when ordered and were told yes we can can take the mayo off. Sent the sandwich back. They just changed the bun and refried the chicken. My daughter took two bites out before realizing that they had mayo on it and when the sandwich was returned it had the exact same two bites out of it. Save your money and go somewhere else! Very unsatisfied.

Stopped by for a good burger and a salad for dinner. Prices were a bit high but the quality was good. I was surprised to be charged for water cup when we are paying $10 for a burger and fries. Service and nice and friendly. I was just visiting the area but not sure I would go again.

Average bacon cheeseburger with good toppings. Would personally prefer fresh patties versus premade, which are a little dry. Quick and efficient order taking and order delivery. Fries were crisp and good.

I was a little hesitant to eat here because I didn’t want just another burger place. From what I saw on the menu it is anything but. My husband enjoyed his regular burger (whatever it was). He said it was great, but I was so distracted eating my Buffalo Chili Chicken sandwich to pay attention to what everyone else was eating. Someone else with us eats Keto and they were able to accommodate her with a burger on salad. Back to my amazing sandwich! You can select between grilled, fried or country style. I chose the grilled. It was amazing from the first bite to the last! It could only be eaten with a knife and fork. The buffalo chili was what made it amazing. But it had a nice soft bun and some kind of cheese that I’ve never heard of and I forgot to ask. My husband thought the chili was a little on the spicy side but still very good, I thought it was just right. Oh, and I had the sweet potato fries for an up charge of $2.99, which I thought was a little much, but they were very good. My husband got onion rings with the same up charge and he raved about how good they were. When we finished we had to get something from their extensive ice cream menu. We both got hard scoop ice cream shakes. You choose your ice cream flavor and your shake flavor. Both were delicious! The dining room was comfortable, had a great decor and was clean. So were the bathrooms. I would definitely recommend eating here. As a matter of fact we are already planning on eating there tomorrow night!

After several days of remote camping, my husband craved a burger, so we tried Slackers. The burgers were OK and we asked for crispy fries, but they were under cooked. There was nothing exceptional about the burgers and we felt that they were a tad pricey for meals served in a paper basket - or in our case, Styrofoam. I would have given an extra star, if they didn't use Styrofoam. Why is that even an option anymore? Service - we were just given a buzzer, so there was no service. However, my take on the ambience was the girl at the counter didn't seem to like her job and the inside of the restaurant smelled quite strongly of fishy cooking oil.

We tried Slacker's Burger Joint because it was recommended to us. It looks like a small town burger joint, but the food is levels above the average fast food burger. We had a double cheeseburger and mushroom/Swiss/bacon burger. Both came with fries, which we upped to sweet potato fries. We also got shakes. The burgers were hot and fresh and very good. The fries were also good. The shakes were average. The burger prices included fries. It was quite pricey but worth it for a treat while on vacation.
