First: What a view! Second: Food at The Rim Rock Restaurant is good and you get plenty! They have good variety of salad dressings and the meat is grilled to perfection. Maybe they should renew their interior as it is a bit out-dated. But it's a great place for dinner!

I loved the ambience of this restaurant. It's a charming, quaint restaurant just outside the town of Torrey. Most of the seating is in their outdoor patio, and it has a gorgeous view of the rocks across the highway. The wait staff is very friendly, and one of them even comes out on roller skates. The food is good and... More

We had a nice meal here after a long day in Capitol Reef. The staff was very helpful and modified a few dishes to cater to our dietary needs. Great view from the deck! Warm berries with ice cream was the bomb!

This is the best meal I have had in a long time! The pork chop was seared to perfection trapping the juices inside. It was served with homemade honey applesauce and homemade mashed potatoes. Our waitress, Brooke, and the rest of the staff, was friendly and attentive. Great views from the dining room. Be sure to check out the hummingbird... More

Had dinner here while staying at the Rim Rock Inn,Service is good, better than we expected...the food is great too.we were in a hurry to catch the sunset and proceed to Panorama Point in Capitol Reef which is less than a mile away, I think from the Rim Rock Restaurant, but otherwise, the meal was enjoyable !

Rim Rock offers a nice view and a decent meal for the price. I'd call it a value oriented choice, a step up from burgers and ribs joints but think typical mid-level steak house. Chefs hails from NY so menu does offer some more interesting combinations and taste profiles but... Better for families with smaller kids than Cafe Diablo. Overall... More

Our family of 7 ate here for dinner. The place had decent fare for the middle of nowhere Utah. Our favorites included the salad with blackberry vinaigrette dressing and the turkey with mole' sauce. I also tried the vegetarian enchiladas with mole sauce. The flavor was good, but I felt the onions were a bit undercooked. Service was great. The... More

When you're in the middle of nowhere in Utah visiting national parks, you don't really expect to find much to choose from for restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised to find the Rimrock. It wasn't just your basic steak/chicken choices. There were imaginative dishes on the menu and we had a very enjoyable meal.
