Manteo's best sandwich shop.

Food is always good, right on water. Large variety of sandwiches. Your biggest problem is deciding which to order. Friendly atmosphere.

Visiting the Outer Banks and had a great lunch here. Cheap, quick and yummy. Quality ingredients and friendly staff made for a nice break with my family.

We visited on the recomendation of staff at the Acquarium, and were so glad we did! They have great sandwiches, warm and hot options. The kids enjoyed the grilled cheese with bacon. You order at the counter, then they deliver to your seat, the service was quick, and we were there during the busy lunch hour.

A great sandwich shop for breakfast and lunch and then a full bar at night - right on the waterfront of beautiful downtown Manteo...a great experience

we were not disappointed with the recommendation by the lady at the lighthouse. we had very delicious turkey sandwiches on foccacia bread. it came with a generous portion of potato salad. after ordering at the counter, you sit wherever and they come find you. we sat on the covered deck with a view of the marina.

We stopped here for a quick light lunch. We ordered their special which was a grilled ham and cheese on flatbread. The sandwich was much larger than we anticipated and it was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to get back there again. The shop sits right on the harbor with beautiful views.

I asked a local where they would recommend. Being here in off season, she suggested three places. I love sandwich shops and opted for this one with my friends. I had the grilled Roast Beef & Swiss with Fries. The food was plentiful, prepared wonderfully, and we enjoyed sitting on the covered, back deck with a view of the marina.

On our way to the Outer Banks we always stop in Manteo for lunch. If you've not visited this very quaint and highly historic small town, don't miss it. Poor Richard's Sandwich Shop is right on the dock. Our first visit to Poor Richard's was so satisfying. Believing I'm a Reuben Sandwich gourmet.... I ordered theirs. I was so pleased... More

Enjoyed eating on the deck, pleasant atmosphere. Good menu selection, lots of choices. The Reuben, club and the chili were tasty. Fast, friendly service. Will eat here again.
