We loved this restaurant. Food was amazing. We sat outside and had great views of water. The service was terrific. We have added this to our go to place while at the cape.

We love the bookstore! Fresh raw oysters are delicious. The fried calamari appetizer was very good. We look forward every year going there. Across the street is wellfleet bay. We watch the sunset and walk the beach. To us it's a must visit. Reasonably priced.

The view is priceless if you get a table outside. The staff was friendly and decent. The mixed drinks were just okay. We got appetizers and the waitress brought us the wrong mussels. The other apps were nothing spectacular. We would probably give this place another try though.

After a swim and a walk on the beach, it was great to find a spot right across the road. Service was friendly and efficient. The beer selection was extensive and included some local brews on tap. The food was surprisingly good.

This is one of my usual stops for dining when I am on the Cape. Last visited this weekend and the food and views did not disappoint!

A trip to Cape Cod is not complete for me without a visit to this restaurant. We were staying in Yarmouth but it was worth the drive. Unfortunately as soon as we got out of the car a storm rolled in so we couldn't enjoy the usual sunset from the upstairs deck. The food was excellent as usual. Stuffed Baked... More

We eat at The Book Store at least once a summer and always enjoy the fresh seafood, cold draft beer and scenic waterfront setting. (See my previous reviews, all positive.) So I was very disappointed when our most recent visit did not meet expectations.I ordered the baked scallops and specifically told the server that I wanted the scallops cooked through... More

Went for dinner with the family last week. We sat outside and it was so windy the glasses of water kept being blown over at one of the tables! They shouldn't seat people outside when it's like that. But the food was delicious. Their oysters are so delicate! I had salmon and it was cooked just right.

Had a great dinner here! I got the fish and chips which was pretty good--the fish was amazing but the fries could have been a little crispier IMO. The tarter sauce that came with it was also really tasty. I tried the blood orange margarita and it was sooo sweet (which I prefer) and fresh! I highly recommend it. The... More
