Its Main Street location on a small hill, plus the outdoor seating make this a perfect spot for a vacation dinner. On this visit, we sat inside and each had the Lamb Sugo, which did not disappoint. The staff is attentive and good humored, which make the experience even better. On every visit to Wellfleet, we always make it a... More

Wow! This was a great find. Large front porch with an excellent menu. There is a garden area in the back, downstairs indoor seating and a tavern upstairs that I could see myself enjoying on a rainy day or evening. Loved that the tavern is in an old Cape home.

We live on Cape 4months every summer and find the outdoor terrace shaded by nature trees, the perfect place for a lovely meal.We always order mussels and beet salad along with other offerings. We had a table for 9 including 2 children and were well taken cared for at Winslow's. Most of us had seafood dinners and several had hamburgers but everyone was happy with their meals. The kids liked the clam chowder. We have been here before and think that they are even better.

We go there often and are never disappointed. Lovely staff. Interesting menu. Favorites: Mussels. Cod. All the pasta. The South African white wines...Reasonable prices.

A charming spot. My wife's corn and scallop risotto was tasty and filling. Her fig salad and my Wellfleet oysters, were fine. My entree, one of the nights specials- squid ink pasta with squid , sausage and, corn relish truly disappointed. Tasteless, overcooked squid and pasta, just lacking in flavor. A disappointment for what,we hoped would have been a memorable meal.

Hi LesJoEllen - the squid ink pasta is one of our more experimental specials where chef Phillip has Sous Vide the squid for 3 hours in order to achieve an amazingly silky texture and combined it with some bold flavors including bacon dashi, fermented corn and n'duja sausage. I can understand why it may have been alienating and not up... More

oysters in all their glory raw, or roasted with miso chive or pesto all were good we ate 2 dozen with some of the yummiest cocktails. The porch swing with the elder-flower liqueur was amazing, We walk about for a bit and then returned for the dinner experience. I had a scallop risotto that was perfect and my husband has... More

This is our new favorite Welfleet restaurant. First of all its all about the hospitality in the summer on the cape...it's hard to find...luckily not st Winslow's! From the hostess to the servers all was wonderful. Beautiful outdoor seating with heater lamps, spectacular food, delicious drinks and a cool vibe! We will be back for sure!

Winslow's is located in the heart of Wellfleet. We decided to dine outside. The restaurant is upscale casual. My husband and son wore shorts. Service was great. Clam chowder was good. The rest of our food was good but a little bland, typical of American fair. Overall, dinner was good. Restaurant was family friendly. We have a 9 year old... More

So glad everyone was comfortable dining with us, but it is unfortunate to hear that you found our menu offerings bland and typical. There is a great deal of focus put on selecting local ingredients and using them to prepare some excellent variations on traditional dishes. Should you find yourself dining with us again, please ask for me. I'll ensure... More

Winslow's on a Saturday evening under the stars after Labor Day was a delight. Our party had clam chowder, lobster salad, cod, lamb shank with pasta, and chocolate mousse. Everything was tastefully prepared and presented. Waitstaff were informative, attentive, and efficient. A memorable experience.

Description
A dining experience at Winslow's begins with a warm greeting from Tracey Barry Hunt, the General Manager who oversees "the front of the house." A former documentary television producer and director, Tracey loves speaking with guests and sharing local knowledge about her favorite spots on the Cape. Winslow's menu and wine list are created by South African born Chef, Phillip Hunt, Tracey's husband. Phillip is always happy to share his passion and vast knowledge of wine with guests interested in recommendations and food pairings. On any given day Tracey and Phillip's two young sons, Hunter and Romanee (our grill and saute cooks for the 2020 season!) may also make an appearance at Winslow's to pick some herbs for Dad or entertain the staff and guests with Mom.
