Adorable restaurant, great food, nice service! Really warm, casual-upscale atmosphere inside and out. We had the steak frites and a scallop risotto dish - both were excellent. The salted caramel tart dessert was delicious. We would come back next time we visit the Cape!

Excellent place for lunch. Would be nice if they served breakfast or brunch. Also, as much as I love oysters, I love clams more, and they weren't on the menu. Great service also from Brendan, our server.

We focus on making excellent meals for our guests, and I'll take it as a compliment that you would love to see breakfast and brunch dishes from us. Clams do come on to the menu from time to time, and I'm sorry they weren't present on your visit. Thanks for mentioning Brendan. He's a pleasure to have working with us.... More

The burrata, eggplant, & oysters were great. The swordfish had a decent but not stellar topping on a tough thin slice of fish. The tiramisu was forgettable. The drinks were acceptable but not remarkable.

Always like to treat my hosts in Wellfleet at this restaurant in the middle of town. The food is always fresh, beautifully prepared and elegantly presented. Given my low sodium regimen, I can depend that the kitchen staff will go out of their way to recommend a delectable dish. No steamed bland food but rather sauces prepared especially for me.... More

When on the Cape, make sure to stop at least once at Winslow's Tavern inWellfleet (it's worth the drive) They have some delicious craft cocktails & the curry mussels in a cream sauce appetizer are a must order. If you like outdoor dining, call ahead for a reservation for a table in their own back yard oasis with long wooden... More

Really enjoyed our evening here. We had to wait for a table but this gave us time to explore the stores across the way. It is great to be sitting outside above the street. The food was excellent for two vegetarians and one meat eater. Service was speedy. Enjoyed the tiramasu and coffees to finish. Will be back next year.

We went to Winslow's with friends who were visiting the area. We requested an indoor table and were seated quickly at a window table that had a lovely see breeze - the restarant has no ocean views - but was lovely none the less. The food was excellent - we started with the pear apple salad which was a departure... More

A relaxed atmosphere with a balanced menu. If you've eaten fish all week and want a change this is a very solid option. The Burger was very good and the seafood was very tasty and nocely presented.

A fantastic find - a great restaurant on the Cape without an hour wait. The bread that came with the menus was fantastic, almost cake like and excellent with the olive oil on the table. We had the corn chowder and gazpacho for our soups. My husband had lobster with corn, cantaloupe and okra. Much better than you'd think and... More

Description
A dining experience at Winslow's begins with a warm greeting from Tracey Barry Hunt, the General Manager who oversees "the front of the house." A former documentary television producer and director, Tracey loves speaking with guests and sharing local knowledge about her favorite spots on the Cape. Winslow's menu and wine list are created by South African born Chef, Phillip Hunt, Tracey's husband. Phillip is always happy to share his passion and vast knowledge of wine with guests interested in recommendations and food pairings. On any given day Tracey and Phillip's two young sons, Hunter and Romanee (our grill and saute cooks for the 2020 season!) may also make an appearance at Winslow's to pick some herbs for Dad or entertain the staff and guests with Mom.
