Much less pretentious than it's reastaurant counterpart, this place is on the same range of PJs with the plus of the bay view and the minus of being a little more expensive. The quality of food is very good and the staff very helpful. About 90$ for 4 persons

Watch the boats and bay while you eat seafood outside by the water. Everything we had shrimp, lobster and clam strips was excellent. Can be hot and sunny but shaded tables are available.

We always try to make it here on our first night on the Cape. There is no need for reservations and if you time it right you can watch the sunset from your picnic table on the Wellfleet harbor. The lobsters are great and so are the steamers. It is a little bit of a zoo. You need to have... More

We took a day trip to Wellfleet just to get the famous oysters and were absolutely NOT disappointed. The wait was not short but the oysters were as fresh as the sea. The lazy man's lobster roll was delicious as were the scallops. Our kids rated the clam chowder the best they had ever had. The stripped bass was less... More

The menu here is rather spotty. A few very good dishes, lots of misses. The view is unbeatable at their outside tables. But at low tide the odor is strong and the wind in the evening can be quite an annoyance.

Haven't eaten dinner here, but have gone for ice cream and then a nice walk around the pier at night. The ice cream is great, and the total experience is vintage Wellfleet.

Fast service, good selection of fish foods, yummy taste and a decent price. We had a huge selection and everyone got what they wanted. Great outdoor seating.

As many of the other reviews put it, this restaurant is ok. I think that sums it up best. Nothing great or bad about the food. It does have a wonderful view but that comes at a price. You can find a far better meal at other places for what you will spend here. Not sure if I would ever... More

One of the best takeouts on the cape! If not THE best. Gigantic menu, nice service, fresh food, fun seaside ambiance. Our first stop every time

Top dollar for average clam shack chow. Paying for the location here folks. Fish sandwiches and fries were average at best, and at a bit under $20, well, not impressed. A great location, though.....

Description
Order at the window. Send the kids to scout a table on the sand. This is the place for a plate of fried clams with a slow summer sunset on the side. Steamers with broth and drawn butter, a lobster roll, a fried fish sandwich, onion rings--they're Cape Cod classics for a reason. There may be nothing better. But here's satisfaction for those who might crave something else: grilled tuna with summer vegetables and ponzu, a scallop burrito, fish tacos, Caribbean fish stew. And ice cream, of course: sundaes and frappes, soft-serve and scooped - served every night until 10pm. Our honest-to-goodness clam shack. Right on Wellfleet harbor, next to our original fish market.
