No doubt, this place has a great location, right at the end of the pier with sweeping views of the bay. On a windy days, it gets really windy though and they won't use their umbrellas then, so shady spots are very limited. It took us a long time to pick out something. We had hoped for a plain grilled... More

We visited as a large group, with varied desires. Chowder was not too thick, very flavorful. Salmon sandwich was excellent. Burgers were overcooked. Quesadilla (fried fish and black bean) was large and quite good -- it benefitted from the salsa and sour cream that are included. Clam strips were excellent. Fresh lemonade was disappointing -- not much flavor. Fries are... More

I got an oyster sandwich with tea and my partner got the quesadillas with lemonade. The sandwich was alright but nothing to brag about. The tea left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth for well over an hour later. My partner swears the lemonade was from a powder mix even though it is made to sound as though it's "fresh... More

We had high hopes for this place since it's on a wharf and touts its use of sustainable and local seafood. The menu has a lot of sushi, sashimi and oysters. We can't speak to those items but what we ordered was not anywhere near our standards for seafood preparation. The haddock (a small rectangle plopped on "lobster mashed potatoes")... More

If you visit the town, this food and ice cream place is worth visiting. The ice cream they make is really good, and worth the price. There are picnic tables under umbrellas so you could enjoy the view of the ocean whilst having your food.

Great spot that is casual and outside with the water views. The clams and lobster excellent. Fun and have been here before and the food remains the best. The order window is busy but they have it down right!

Eat on picnic tables facing the water, fresh fish (I had striped bass and corn on the cob plus veggies) then feast on ice cream(I had blackberry frozen yogurt with chic chips). All with bay breezes.

The view at the spot is not to be beat – the ice cream selection is excellent and the fried seafood is great. Steer clear of the other menu items, they are lackluster. For example, last night I had the broiled scallops dinner. The scallops were not broiled, they were boiled. The vegetables served with my scallops were barely cooked... More

Grabbed a lobster roll before fishing on the pier. It was amazing! They sell fresh raw fish and lobster as well for you to take home. Good stuff!

Great food at great prices and you can sit outside and watch the people swim and the boats go by. What's better than that.

Description
Order at the window. Send the kids to scout a table on the sand. This is the place for a plate of fried clams with a slow summer sunset on the side. Steamers with broth and drawn butter, a lobster roll, a fried fish sandwich, onion rings--they're Cape Cod classics for a reason. There may be nothing better. But here's satisfaction for those who might crave something else: grilled tuna with summer vegetables and ponzu, a scallop burrito, fish tacos, Caribbean fish stew. And ice cream, of course: sundaes and frappes, soft-serve and scooped - served every night until 10pm. Our honest-to-goodness clam shack. Right on Wellfleet harbor, next to our original fish market.
