We were in Wellfleet looking to getting a shell fishing license and decided we needed a nice treat so stopped here for some ice cream. And we are glad that we did.
Although it is a small location with limited outdoor seating it is conveniently located in the heart of Wellfleet on the main street through town. There is a large public parking lot right next door.
I ordered the white chocolate with raspberry and my wife ordered the eccentric chocolate. We both ordered cups with two scoops. FYI two scoops is only a small amount of money over the cost of single scoop...so why not get two?
We were able to get a couple of seats in the shade close by and enjoyed our cold tasty treats.
Often referred to as Emack and Bolio's it is worth coming here for dessert after a meal nearby or just stopping in for a treat like we did.
No samples given by the way. Just order and enjoy.
Window staff was friendly and professional and very quick in filling the orders.

This was seriously some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. I was on a 30-mile bike ride and stopped here to get some calories in my system. I ordered a scoop of the Oreo ice cream and it completely blew me away. I’ve had Oreo ice cream many times in my life, and various different brands. However, it’s an understatement to say that this was the best of all. I’ll be in the Cape for a few more days and I already can’t wait to go back and have more flavors!

I've been coming here for years and still absolutely love it. The coffee-based ice creams are fabulous (beantown buzz being my absolute favorite). The servings are large and the servers are friendly.
The only downside is that the garden area where the tables are has a fair number of mosquitoes, so you may get a bite while you're enjoying your ice cream.

We got here at 9pm and the website said the ice cream shop would be open to 930. We we got here we were informed that they were closing in a few minutes and were only serving cups and cones. We were rushed to place an order. I asked for hot fudge and I was told they turned they turned that off already. My fiancé ordered the wrong ice cream because we were rushed and we asked to change it once it was given to us and we were very rudely told no. Horrible experience. The staff were more concerned about leaving work.

Descent ice cream shop in downtown. Had the Chocolate mousse flavor. Was good, a little rich. Public parking available on both sides.

I had the toasted marshmallow ice cream with graham crackers and oreos and it was really good! Ordered the "small" which was a very generous portion. Best ice cream that I had on my trip!

The best hot fudge sundaes in this neck of the woods. The Bananas Foster Ice Cream is a must - The flavor named after Wellfleet is also a winner!

Excellent ice cream and if, like me, you remember an old fashioned ice cream soda as the perfect treat on a hot day this is the place. All outside seating so weather matters.

They feature Emack & Bolio ice cream and it's top notch stuff (though pricey). I had a black raspberry with dark and white chocolate chips cone, and the other big hit was an espresso/chocolate kind of thing - both great.
