We vacation every year at the cape, and The beachcomber and cahoon hollow beach are always on the must do list. If pretty far down the cape but well worth it. We always plan to get there early as the parking lot fills very quickly, and although they charge to park, they give you an equivalent coupon for the restaurant,... More

We travel every summer to Wellfleet just to go to the Beach comber. Great beach bar, live music, raw bar, tee shirts stand. They have Reggae music every week and many other bands. On this trip the mussels and shrimp were GREAT. It never disappoints.

This former lifesaving station was converted to a restaurant and bar in Wellfleet, right on the ocean beach. It was packed the evening we went, but it didn't take long to get a table. There is a raw bar and many seafood items on the menu as well as salads, burgers, quesadillas, clam chowder, and more. Beers on tap are... More

We so enjoyed our lunch at the Beachcomber that we came back again & would do it again & again, & will do every year we visit the Cape. It's a great beach shack sort of a place, with fun 1960s-70's music. The oysters are fantastic & the margaritas are fine. Just the sort of place you want when you... More

we have been coming here for years - nestled in the 100 foot high dunes off the national seashore - it's the only one Big daddy Shucker and friends run a great raw bar tip 'em well and see what happens :) Also parking lot fills up quickly so plan ahead. Only open Memorial day to Labor day and the... More

This was our first stop on the Cape on our way to P town from Plymouth MA. We arrived early and were able to park on premises. Loved the beach and the water here. Had lunch and cocktails. Food was typical bar food and all we needed to go along with our goombay smash drinks. Very friendly staff and the... More

A friend of mine is always raving about the Beachcomber so we gave it a shot while in Wellfleet one night. We were there after Memorial Day but before July 4th so the season wasn't fully in swing yet and the place was crowded so I can imagine what it's like when the season really gets going. The parking is... More

If you are in the Orleans/Eastham area then you have to go to the Beachcomber for dinner and drinks. The food, drinks and atmosphere is the best on the Cape. You won't be disappointed. And buy a sweatshirt or t-shirt on the way out. You won't regret this place.

Beautiful beach and soft sand. Lots of waves and the day we were there we saw lots of seals. Walking down to the beach is a breeze but walking back up is not for anyone not in good shape.

This was our first experience at this long established spot. The BC is great all day for classic cape fare. We had a wonderful waitress which is important for anyone, but especially for our large family. The only issue is parking. If the lot is full, you are sent down the road to a public lot, $20 to park and... More
