This place closes for the season. TripAdvisor says it's open. The restaurant's Facebook and web page says nothing about hours. Sure would have been nice.

Over the past few years, we've had a lot of great meals at The Beachcomber. Unfortunately this visit fell short of our expectations. Granted the place was very busy--but it's a popular spot and they are always busy. I ordered fish tacos, and I could...hardly find the fish. Mostly lettuce. To be fair, my husband did enjoy a very generously filled lobster roll. Hence the "average" rating.More

After about a 20 minutes we were finally able to drive down to the Beachcomber and put our name in for a table of 9. It as about a 30 minute wait for a table but the kids went down ocean and we could barely...get them back up when the table was ready. The drinks and oysters were amazing. The garlic mussels, tuna sashimi, oyster po boy and fish taco's all excellent. Lastly I would recommend the Goombay Smash to start off the experience with.More

We opted for the takeout kiosk since the line for eat in was over an hour wait. The ordering was relatively brisk and we ordered a foot long hot dog, grilled fish sandwich, and fried oyster PO boy sandwich. They also had virgin piña coladas...and cold beer. Overall decent food. We were surprised by the $2 “convenience fee.” Nothing earth shattering about the food!More

Parking at the Beachcomer was a challenge; it is best to get there when it opens at 9 a.m. and spend the morning on the amazing beach. The restaurant is great! The food (lobster salad, little neck clams, big daddy pork sandwich) and cocktails (painkiller...- pina colada, margarita) were excellent. The beach is amazing, below huge sand dunes and limited number of people because of limited parking. It was a real challenge to get parking; I had to walk down the hill and pester the parking attendant. The walk down to the beach is very steep and a chore to climb back from. It is an amazing place. We saw large seals swimming by and jellyfish. Whales are seen here but not when we were there. There are also sharks in the area, as an ominous sign warns. Fortunately, we didn’t see those either. On our way to Provincetown, we decided to stop here for lunch. I had the Po Boy ( Fried Oyster ) sandwich which was delicious. My wife had the salmon tacos. The portion of the salmon was small but tasty. Service was adequate; ambiance was...nice and portions were good. I can't give them a better review because of the last of public restrooms.More

this is a lovely beach and the restaurant makes for a great day out. The food is good enough and the service young and dynamic.

Trust the Beachcomber for some great fresh fish. We had juicy, salty raw oysters - excellent. Steamers were huge and tasty. Captain’s Platter was tasty and crisp. A lot of people there want a return to a drunken singles scene, but management is good about...maintaining social distancing. Tables are a bit close together but we asked and got something out of the way. View cannot be beat!More

On a bluff overlooking a gorgeous stretch of nature and sea, expect a crowd and standard cape cod seafood fare then head back down to the beach

We arrived at 3pm and it was almost full. This is a popular beach so beach goers arrive in the AM and stay for happy hour.
