Had to wait 30 mins for a table when we went for a late lunch but it was worth it. Great service and good food.

We did not get past having a drink while waiting for a seat. The bartender has no clue what a scotch is. (Definitely not a Canadian Mist.). Don’t ask for a vodka martini = Water, vodka and equal amt of vermouth. Save me! The ambiance...was dirty too. I do believe the manager just got the message. Good luck. Gave our buzzer to a non drinking couple and moved on to Durango Steakhouse.More

Dixie Crossroads is THE place to be if you want amazing, fresh shrimp! The food was delicious and our waitress kew what she was doing and did a good job doing it! The only little complaint that I have is that the place was not...that clean. I also didn’t see any hand-sanitizer bottles. Other than that, the place was amazing and if you come, take your picture with the shrimp!More

Stopped in for lunch while on business at Kennedy Space Center. The piping hot hush puppy type treats they serve with all the meals were melt in your mouth delicious. I ate so many i almost did not leave room for the succulent broiled red...shrimp i ordered. Those were as good as any shrimp i have ever eaten. The side of clam chowder was thick rich and full of clams. The cheese grits were made like my grandmother did. The young lady that waited the table was cheerful and extremely efficient. Ask for Amaya if you go there for lunch. I will be back again at least 2 more times during my week long business trip. The food and service is that good.More

Heading out after a day at the beach at the Cape Canaveral National Lakeshore, and found this gem. Walking in we found a diner with some seriously good seafood and wonderful waitstaff

It really would be a 3.5 rating, but didn’t have that option. We had heard lots about the royal red shrimp and tried them. They were broiled and served with drawn butter. They were pretty good, but not sure they were worth $28.50. I think...I prefer peel and eat shrimp with butter and Old Bay. The restaurant has no special views, but the inside is kind of quaint. The service was good, however the wait times could be a little long and it didn’t appear that you had the option of waiting in the bar, at least on a Sunday evening. I would go back again, but choice a lower priced optionMore

Right off the boat shrimp - anyway you like it! They have other fish options too and non-fish choices. Very clean facilities. Covid conscious. Efficient and friendly staff. We went mid afternoon and there was a 45 minute wait.

I eat seafood all over the world and this is officially the best seafood I've had in Florida. Not expensive - worth every minute of the wait. Huge variety on the menus - great service - strong drinks - what else could you want! If...you are within 1 hour drive it's worth coming here for lunch or dinner!!! (And they accommodated our huge party!)More

We had been here once before several years ago on vacation and thought we'd try it again because of the rock shrimp. The wait was 40+ minutes, they handed out buzzers then proceeded to YELL into the waiting area names despite the fact that most...people were standing outside waiting rather than inside. Several parties nearly lost their place in line because they didn't respond to the name call rather than the buzzer...didn't make much sense. Our party of 2 was seated at a huge table for 6-8 people (I understand Covid, but really?) in a room that was FREEZING, even neighboring tables asked for the air to be turned down/off. Our waitress was marginal compared to another in the room, didn't mention specials or options on how things could be prepared, seasonings etc. I ordered rock shrimp...they are very good, but SMALL, 18 is equivalent to maybe a lobster tail. My salad was good, shrimp soup had no shrimp. My husband ordered fried rock shrimp - the waitress didn't explain they'd look more like popcorn shrimp by the time they were battered and fried, being from the north he thought he'd try cheese grits,...inedible, and the waitress just ignored the fact that he couldn't even eat them never offered another side. We won't be back.More

Just back from dinner at Dixie Crossroads. The service was very good. The food was nothing special. I had the oyster po boy and while the oysters were tasty the rest was so so. They had thick slices of tomato and that made it pretty...near impossible to fold and eat by hand. The roll was not much more than a large hot dog roll. I have had po boys in New Orleans and this was a weak representation. My wife had a shrimp and a mahi taco and they were ok. Too much cheese and iceberg lettuce. We did have vegetables as a side dish and they were very good; cooked just right. Maybe we ordered the wrong items from which to form an opinion but we won't be returning.More

No, there is a waiting list that can be long. However, this is a huge place so the turnover has never been more than 20 minutes. There is a bar and a "feed the fish pond" while you wait.
