I have been going there for years now. It is simply one of the best seafood places in Florida. The ample parking lot usually fills up after opening, so get there early if you don't want to wait. They specialize in shrimp and have more varieties than any other place I know. The crab cakes are terrific and just like you would get in Maryland, loaded with crab meat and very little filler. The great dining experience starts off with a basket of powdered sugar fried dough balls that are addicting. You cannot go wrong with anything you order, but get any shrimp dish which are perfectly prepared. The rock shrimp with the cup of drawn butter makes you think you are eating great lobster. The atmosphere is Florida casual so wear what you want. The service is always good and professional. Many of the items are rather pricey, but top-notch seafood always commands a formidable cost anywhere. This place is definitely worth the long drive to get there and you will be delighted with the food. Everybody needs to go there at least once, then you will be going back in the future.

Love the rock shrimp, broiled to perfection. Like the little shrimp guys to take pictures with too. Food is reasonably priced and the waiter was extremely attentive. Come here every time we visit FL.

We called ahead for reservations, and were seated promptly. Of course, we started off with their delicious Corn Fritters in Powdered Sugar. My wife always orders their famous Rock Shrimp, and she was not disappointed. I ordered Grilled Salmon with a Baked Potato, and a cup of Tomatoe Basil soup with Shrimp Bits. Both of us had a glass of Draft Beer. Our meals were presented very quickly ad were quite fresh. Our total bill was $60.44, plus a $12.00 tip for Robert J. This a GREAT experience, as always.

Husband’s fried rock shrimp (dozen for $15.99) was tasty but the shrimp were very small. Slaw was good. Side salads were good, but only had lettuce and 2 plum tomatoes for vegetables. The lobster was horrible - texture of meat was off and the “butter “ tasted like butter flavored oil. French fries were greasy and unremarkable. Mixed drink was weak. The corn fritters tasted like fried dough balls; they used to be larger and filled with more corn. The best part of our dinner was the awesome waitress. She was attentive during the dinner and fast with the check.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent visit. We are happy to know that you enjoyed the service, but we are disappointed to know that the rest of your experience did not meet or exceed your expectations. Guest satisfaction is very important to us. If there is ever an issue with the food or service at our restaurant, please ask to speak with a manager. Once the manager becomes aware of the issue(s), they are able to correct the issue immediately and accordingly before you leave the restaurant. In regards to the size of the Rock shrimp--they are a seasonal shrimp and do vary in size throughout the season. I would appreciate it if you would email me at sales@dixiecrossroads.com because I would like to get some more information from you. I look forward to hearing from you.

We looked online and assumed the 'gazebo' mentioned was an open-air dining area, but on our arrival the gazebo was not in use, plus it isn't open-air anyway. We ordered our food to go from the friendly girl at the convenient outside window and drove across the causeway to the park on the water. We had ordered rock shrimp and fried shrimp, both with two sides. The shrimp were tasty and cooked well, though two of the dozen rock shrimp were so tiny it was laughable ... please, put the teeny ones in the soup! The baked potato was inedible, thoroughly dried out and old, not even the middle was still palatable, and the coleslaw was MISSING, so of the four sides we paid for we only got two to eat, the fries and veg of the day, both fine. The girl had asked us if we wanted plastic forks and knives, we had said yes ... they were not in the bag! Also, only two small paper napkins is a bit cheap, especially as we had to eat with out hands. The famous corn fritters, my favorite thing, had precious little corn in them and seemed to be almost just hush puppies dusted in sugar. Very disappointing. So after almost 30 years of visits to Dixie Crossroads when I am near Titusville, I was shocked to have a bad experience. I know they can do better.

The food is very good and the prices are very reasonable. My wife and I shared the Cape Canaveral Special (1.25 lb Lobster 1 dozen Boat Run Shrimp, 2 dozen Rock Shrimp, and 1/4 lb. Scallops) We upgraded our sides my wife had a salad and I had the clam chowder, which was excellent. Easily more than enough for two. The corn fritters are excellent served hot with powdered sugar but they will leave off if you ask. Our server, Paul, was excellent, very attentive. The restaurant is a little touristy but also hosts plenty of locals.

The restaurant is very large size with social distance inside and they have good parking. they also provide free fish food so you can feed the fish by the bridges as you exit/enter. Service is very good - food not so much. You get little sugar covered sweet fritters as you sit. We ordered fried shrimp which was so tasteless I had to add salt and lots of lemon to eat. The shrimp and tomato soup was ok had more corn than anything else. The cheese grits are ok. We ordered Caesar salad which looked and tasted as if it was pre manufactured and bottled dressing which I ordered ranch to pour over it to eat it. We didn’t bother with dessert as there were still fritters left and was scared to pay for a bad dessert. Definitely a one-timer. Was very disappointed after noting TA with 4.5 stars

My wife and I stopped here on our way from OH to West Palm Bch FL We saw several billboards on the way down and the hotel front desk clerk mentioned it as well This was a Monday evening about 6 o'clock so we did not expect the 45 min wait, but no big deal. The place is nothing fancy, but is obviously a big draw among locals. That's usually a good sign. We started off with a cup each of chowder. It was served hot and very tasty We each enjoyed fresh fish platters, me grouper and my wife shrimp. The entrees arrived quickly, fresh, tasty and nice sized portions. Our server was very good, sorry I did'nt record her name or I'd give her s shout out. Would recommend this place

We went out tonight and I got the 10 oz Prime Rib. The Prime was very good except it looked more like 8 oz of fat and 2 oz of Prime Rib. I never said anything about it and was satisfied with the taste. Our waiter Paul came back after taking my finished plate and stated he was giving me another Prime Rib to take home as the one I had been given was unacceptable. He apologized for not noticing when he first delivered it. Needless to say, I want to give "kudos" to Paul for noticing and giving me another Prime Rib. Dixie Crossroads needs to keep hiring great employees like Paul. Thank you Paul, we will be back.

My first time at the dixie. We had a group of friends 9 of us. Our waitress Sarah was AMAZING. She did a fabulous job, she was very professional and informative answering all of our question. We had a wide variety of food not all shown in pictures. Unlimited corn fritters were the BOMB!! The grilled oysters were off the CHAIN never enough, very tasteeeeee. The gator bites were delicious. Everything was delicious. We also had some lobsters. We highly recommend you check it out. Great atmosphere, huge restaurant. We will be back.

We went yesterday after 5:00 and this place is nothing to write home about. The waitress said we are famous for our rock shrimp..taste like lobster…so we ordered them..not more than 8 to ten PIECES…for 13.00 …had to ask for cocktail sauce..had to ask for lemons for water…twice…one had oyster poor boy..one a hamburger…and kids chicken tenders…also cup of chowder that he thought was good …everything was barely hot and we waited… Not a place I would visit again…

We had been here once before several years ago on vacation and thought we'd try it again because of the rock shrimp. The wait was 40+ minutes, they handed out buzzers then proceeded to YELL into the waiting area names despite the fact that most people were standing outside waiting rather than inside. Several parties nearly lost their place in line because they didn't respond to the name call rather than the buzzer...didn't make much sense. Our party of 2 was seated at a huge table for 6-8 people (I understand Covid, but really?) in a room that was FREEZING, even neighboring tables asked for the air to be turned down/off. Our waitress was marginal compared to another in the room, didn't mention specials or options on how things could be prepared, seasonings etc. I ordered rock shrimp...they are very good, but SMALL, 18 is equivalent to maybe a lobster tail. My salad was good, shrimp soup had no shrimp. My husband ordered fried rock shrimp - the waitress didn't explain they'd look more like popcorn shrimp by the time they were battered and fried, being from the north he thought he'd try cheese grits,...inedible, and the waitress just ignored the fact that he couldn't even eat them never offered another side. We won't be back.

We were staying at Ormond Beach Florida on vacation and my brother and his wife live in Sebastian Florida. We decided to meet halfway between in Titusville. My brother had hear several good things about a restaurant called Dixon Crossroads so we met for lunch there. This is a very nice restaurant just a.short distance from I-95. We found the restaurant to much larger then expected and well maintained. The staff were great and kept our drinks refilled. The good was primarily sea food that was excellent and good prices for what we received. They also have a fish pond outside and provide guest with free small cups of fish food for the fish and turtles. Additionally they have an enclosed screen party house with bar that looks like it would hold around 60 guest. The screened party site was not open went we were there at lunch time.

Love the rock shrimp here. One can get as many as they want. Servers will tell you about the combos and other specials as well. They start with corn fritters. We added clam chowder, and baked potato as our sides. It was just enough food. This place is very popular and they line up to get in, but we were lucky and got seated right away. Our server was very personable and sweet. The ponds have fish and turtles in them so people get food too feed them as well. There are several photo opt places.

We stopped at Dixie Crossroads for an early dinner after a day at Kennedy Space Center. They provided great food and great service! The place is large and bright and clean. We were seated at a big booth and promptly provided with our drinks and a complimentary helping of sugar-dusted corn fritters. They were delicious. My daughter had the clam chowder, while my son and I both had raw oysters and the shrimp and grits. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The shrimp and grits included garlic, bacon, blackened mushrooms, and green onions. I highly recommend dining at Dixie Crossroads!
