Love the little corn fritters that they give you when you come in with refills! I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was excellent! So creamy and good. Next time, I will leave the mushrooms off as it was over-powering on the grits. Reasonably priced....definitely return!

The soup today was Cajun shrimp soup. Tomato base with lots of vegetables and small shrimp and a little spicy kick. Clam chowder great too. Rock shrimp is what we come for. Broiled, they are sweet and a little like lobster. The complimentary corn fritters are irresistible. If you're in the area don't miss Dixie Crossroads.

Great food and even better service. This is a real down home seafood restaurant with fried fish, shrimp, clams etc.......and you can get them broiled or however. Great side items to chose from. Cole slaw-excellent, baked sweet potato-great, steamed veggies-very good. One problem--they give you that fake butter.

I use to review under FLAgirlmelbourne until something happened to that account. I have reviewed Dixie Crossroads (DC) several times and never get tired of raving about the grilled rock shrimp. AND, they have the best hushpuppies I have ever had. When you get them to go, you know the hushpuppies are awesome. I had dinner with a friend and... More

This place is the best for rock shrimp, it's also moving up in the Royal Red shrimp. If you have not tried this restaurant, then you are missing the boat! One stop and you will put in on your to-do list when in Florida. I did over ten years ago, I live in Ohio and I share this place with... More

We are from Georgia and are used to eating fried shrimp....but I have to say Dixie Crossroad's fried shrimp were the best I have ever had. Fried to perfection and the batter was so light and delicious!! Their cheese grits were perfect as well. We're here for another night and we're coming back. We just have to try the fish!!!

We've been to this restaurant a few times and every time we have an amazing food. The place is not fancy, but cozy. The wait staff is friendly and quick. The food is not ambitious but very delicious! Everything we've tried was great! Our favorites are Broiled shrimp, especially Rock Shrimp that come with butter and taste like miniature lobsters.... More

My husband had the crabcakes as an appetizer and he thoroughly enjoyed them. His steak was average. The shrimp Alfredo was awesome. The conch fritters were tasty but a little bit on the spicy side. Service was awesome and attentive. Would definitely go back.
