Open late, great service, better food! We shared the green papaya salad, two types of curry one which was recommended by the server, was SOOOO GOOOD!!!! Too much to eat at one sitting took some back to our Condo, within walking distance of several hotels but off the beaten path. Really great food, service and did not break the bank.

I loved Bali Thai. Went every week. But it just closed last week and a new resturaunt is now at the same spot. No fried rice. No pad Thai. No Nasi Goreng. No drunken noodles. On a positive note: Starters/appetizers are still good though.

We went on a Friday night with 2 kids and they were great. Spice level amazing and beer list is really good especially for craft beer lovers like us. The service was fast and attentive. We had just arrived to SD that day so was a nice treat. Highly recommend this place especially for families. Prices are very fair too.

We called rather late for a reservation (party of 8) but on a Sunday evening they were very accommodating and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. However, the place is so small inside that our group took up half the indoor seating! There are plenty of tables outside for when the weather is pleasant. But come here... More

We ate there twice during our vacation in San Diego. We ordered Indonesian food because there is none where we live. It was excellent and very reasonably priced. There are few indoor tables. Parking is easy on the street. The waitstaff is really excellent. Our 5- and 7-year old granddaughters always order soup in restaurants; their soups were excellent and... More

We had a hard time finding this cafe after dark, but we're glad we did. It's a small place, but the food was delicious and the service was great.

A pleasant surprised. We went on a weekday at 5 pm and were the only patrons there so we were a bit skeptical. But when the appetizers came out we knew the food was authentic and great. We tried: Fresh Spring Rolls. Yummy with great peanut sauce. Potstickers. Tasted just like how mom makes them. Fried to perfection. Gado Gado.... More

I looked this place up before we decided between TGI Fridays and Bali Thai Cafe and Bali Thai had 4 1/2 stars compare to TGI Fridays' 2 1/2. I looked it up on a couple of different sites and was glad we chose this place. It is small, but cozy with outside seating and a cool wooden bar. I thought... More

A small cafe tucked away in a dead end road just off a busy interstate. Doesn't sound appealing, and the location probably holds this place back. But I urge you to try it. Probably the best yellow curry I've ever had ("how hot, on a scale of 1 to 10?", they asked - I went for a 5), some good... More

Extremely good Thai food, at fair prices, and met with a smile every time. It's a bit out of the way, but very worth it.
