Okay, it is not the best Italian I have ever had, but it is convenient to my work and home and it is very good for my liking. The atmosphere is friendly and they offer happy hour in the bar.

This neighborhood pizza place had been around since 1970. I grew up nearby and when I come back to San Diego to visit, our local family meets up with us at Sardinia's for sausage, black olive and pepperoni pizza. Lots of locals get beers after work there, and there are sports on the TVs. The pizza is delicious every time.

Very nice Italian place in a residential part of San Diego, away from the tourists. Many locals here, which usually means a decent meal. Active bar with plenty of options. Food was very good, and extremely generous portions. The red Sangria was particularly good. Would go back again for sure!

We wanted a good pizza with a reasonable bottle of wine. Little Italy can be very expensive not to mention finding a parking spot. As we stay in Old Town because of it's convenience to downtown and freeways we don't like to trek too far from our hotel at night. Sardina's can be easily gotten to from Old Town without... More

For the most part I am not blown away by anything other than their pizza. I have had their regular and gluten free and both are outstanding. Its a whole in the wall kind of place (nothing special to look at) but for the most part the service is good and the pizza is great. I highly recommend it.

My extended family attended a wedding in San Diego of my son with a local girl. We stayed on Hotel Circle and stumbled upon this place by accident. What a lucky fine. Excellent food with huge portions that are moderately priced. The only drawback was limited parking. This place is definitely where the locals went and I now know why.

We ate here two years ago when we were visiting friends in town. It was so good then that we wanted to come back this year. We did and I still have rave reviews. The food is not only delicious true Italian fare, but the portions are huge! Most of us can be prepared to take about 1/2 of our... More

Hadn't been in awhile but nothing has changed. The food and the service is still top notch as always. In a group of six, we ordered a large meat-lovers pizza and antipasto salad for all to share and then ordered individual entrees. Everyone enjoyed their meals and everyone took something home as the portions of food were not stingy to... More

This is my go-to restaurant for a moderately priced Italian restaurant with great food. The service is good, the prices are reasonable and food is very good. I can absolutely recommend the happy hour, one of the best in the county. Try the meatballs or sausage ($2.50), sauteed mushrooms ($3.50) and house wine($2.85). They are among the best I have...
