My wife, mother in-law and father in-law all had a wonderful 2-hour feast at Claim Jumper this past Sunday. The buffet was terrific. My favorite was the custom omelet bar, my omelet was perfect. Then there was carving station with turkey, ham and beef, tri-tip...More

Spotty service was once the bane of this otherwise accomplished restaurant. Recent visits confirm a whole new approach and attitude. The manager visited our table twice. Server, Edna, was above and beyond. Great food, prepared and presented well.

This has become sort of a tradition. We were married on St. Patrick's Day and found the pub scenes a bit crowded and boisterous for a nice lunch or dinner. We have frequented Claim Jumper for many years so tried it for our anniversary lunches...More

We all ordered different salads for lunch. It was fresh and very tasty. Had to ask for refills. Didn't order dessert but they did look wonderful.

We stopped in to take advantage of what appeared to be a generous happy hour offering. The bar was not busy. Apps were supposed to be at a reduced price and some alcoholic beverages were $2.00 off. We ordered a couple glasses of wine and...More

Our experience is that Claim Jumper restaurants can be relied upon to offer good food and good service - although the welcome can sometimes be less than warm. The experience here was no different as we ate a light lunch from the Produce Bar. It...More

Good menu with something for everyone. Delicious offerings that are standard fare, but are really goo. Fantastic salad bar. Portions are still huge even after all these years, that’s one thing that has never changed. Cool cabin decor with plenty of tables and seating. Only...More

We lamented the closing of the Carlsbad location and then found this one. It never disappoints and we recently had a birthday celebration here. The tri-tip French dip is amazingly good, the Calzone impressive and every meal was exceptional. Great service, good atmosphere and good...More

Never heard anything about this. They did close the Carlsbad location a few years ago, but we ate here less 9 days ago and all was well. They do a good business so maybe the gas station is simply a rumor?
