Great sushi by one of the most famous sushi chefs! I was at the sushi bar and was welcomed by all that were there. The entire staff from the greeters to the water re-filler guys were very friendly and helpful. Food quality was amazing! Very fresh and decent volume of food. My sushi chef even made a few special rolls... More

My wife and I went to Nobu on Restaurant Week and despite all the commotion that Restaurant Week implies, we had an AMAZING meal at Nobu. We had a 5 course meal (the Miso Cod was the highlight...though the soft-shell crab was a close 2nd)...and we can't say enough good things about the food and the atmosphere (if you are... More

I have heard of Nobu before, but this was the first time trying it out and I have to say one of the best places I have ever eaten. The Sushi in my option was average. The other dishes, however were absolutely stellar. There were about 11 of us eating dinner for a friends Birthday. We all ordered a number... More

Made it a point to start reviewing since we literally eat out every day :-) the 3.8 star Nobu had when we looked into it simply doesn't apply! Food-amazing! Atmosphere-amazing! Service-AMAZING! Definitely on the higher end for price then we usually do but the reason is clear! An absolute all around amazing experience !!! Thanks for making our experience in... More

Probably loudest restaurant I have ever eaten. Taste excellent though. Not worth for $200 per person.

Disappointing experience after very high expectations... Maybe that was the problem. Location and ambiance: located in the Hard Rock hotel gas lamp quarter, young chic and fresh atmosphere. Service: we started off at the bar with an unfriendly bartender and ordered a couple of the happy hour cocktails (9$ each). Moved to the lounge and were served by an ok... More

Have not visited a Nobu in years. Gave up on Nobu because of or quality food and service. Decided to try the San Diego downtown location. It was really good. Service was great and the sashimi and cut rolls were awesome. Had salmon and tuna sashimi followed by shrimp tempura roll and the spicy yellowtail jalapeño and the asparagus yellowfin... More

Went to Nobu for an early dinner. Since it was our first visit we relied on the waiter to help make or food selections. The choices were wonderful and I especially enjoyed the salmon. Everything was delicious and I enjoyed the dining experience.

We ordered one of the prix fixe meals, and there was simply too much food. Way too much. I know quite a few diners would like to get more than their money's worth, but in this case, we all felt guilty leaving so much food on the table. The dishes were excellent, so you might want to order a la... More
