The restaurant was in the process of changing its theme. I think it is becoming more eclectic but still with a Med or Spanish flare. We had a number of tapas and skipped the main course. It was a nice way to experience the breath...More

I was able to get a table for the closing of Bracero Cocina in Little Italy on June 3rd. They closed the book on this chapter for a reopening on June 6th as Romesco Mexiterranean Cocina. Downstairs it will feature a casual tapas bar with...More

The restaurant offers a modern mexican cuisine. If you are looking for the traditional tacos, this is not the place for you. Here it is more a new cuisine, a new assembly of flavours and taste but in the pure mexican tradition.

Interesting fusion Mexican dishes. Not your traditional taco & burrito place. Really enjoyed the Esquites "street style corn" and acorn & kabocha squash in mole

After visiting the wonderful San Diego Farmer's Market we dropped in for brunch. The décor is modern, but not industrial nor mid-Century. More rustic. Service was great and the menu had so many wonderful choices it took us a while to decide what to eat....More

This trendy "new" Baja-Mexican restaurant had very inventive and tasty small plates. We really enjoyed the Octopus, Gambas, Squash Mole and Tortilla Soup. But the service was truly poor, due to a customer-unfriendly attitude. It started when we entered the restaurant. Having made a reservation...More

Fun twist on the guacamole. Great specialty drinks. Gabriel was a great waiter. Would definitely go back. Recommended by a local.

Hip, sexy Mexican restaurant. Yummy black bean hummus and tamale....but definitely not your ordinary TexMex. I'd love to go back and try other items on the menu.

This is a new take on Mexican food. Origins are clearly Mexican but tastes are contemporized. If you are open and willing to experience this then I highly recommend this place. Wait staff is very attentive and hospitable. A little pricey for what you get.
