If you love the Original Pancake House, you will love this place too. Great German pancake with delicious lemon, butter, powdered sugar mix to customize it yourself. I put all the yummy ingredients on it then roll it up like a burrito. We also ordered bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns with cheese. We couldn't even see the hashbrowns because they were... More

If you are not starving, you should probably share a plate! I ordered the "flight" of pancakes, which is 3 different types of pancakes of your choice. Delicious! The bacon was awesome!

Was close to the Marriott so I thought I would try. Stood in line for about 20 minutes. Staff was very friendly. Seating is very tight. Portions are very large, but the pancakes are small. I had the eggs Benedict and they were average. The omelettes are the way go. I would repeat if in the area agin.

We were lucky to visit the first time on a rainy day, so got in right away. As we were having breakfast, we could see from the closed circuit TV display a line had formed, and got up to 15 or more people long, waiting to get in. Lucky us! Food was great, service ever-present, pricing very good. Came back... More

Expectation exceed reality. We spent 20 mins in the line. Many pancake options to decide. Excellent coffee, ham and bacon, in that order. Big omelettes. Huge serving portions. Be patient to wait for your order.

So many breakfast places, so few are any good. This one is great. Warm, crisp, thick cut bacon, with waffle and syrup. Yes! My wife loved her pecan pancakes. Four or five coffee fillups. A lot of So.Cal places are foremost about presentation; not here where the simple and fancy breakfast fare is solid, and worth the 25 minute wait... More

I have never experienced a better breakfast in my life before i met this place. Starting your day in Richard Walker's Pancake House trust me will boost your day, you will never feel tired until midnight, i mean it. For me, Crepes are better than pancakes. Pancakes can be a little bit heavy although you consume some chilled water. But... More

Was in San Diego for only 2 nights on our honeymoon and were looking forward to try as many different places as possible on our short stay. Wasn't the case for our breakfast place of choice. Chose Richard Walker's based on the very good reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to wait despite the long line (line of approx. 20... More
