This is the third time we have eaten breakfast here in as many years. It remains a great place to eat. If you want good food at a moderate price this is a must. I have to compliment the wait staff. It doesn't matter who is out near the tables, if they see you need coffee they will fill your... More

OK a disclaimer we meant to order the German apple pancake and ended up with just the plain German pancake – no apples. But yet it was super Duper delicious! Order it! Now! I wish we had time to go back and try the German apple pancake. I wish I would've taken a picture but we ate it too fast... More

Found it as top pick on Trip Advisor. Walked up and found a line 50 persons deep. The restaurant holds ~75. The line moved quickly no more than 15-20 min for two persons.. Worth the wait definitely!. Extensive menu. Great service today with Marcella. I ordered omelette. Portions are huge even for this big eater.

Located downtown, this is the best breakfast in San Diego. Large menu selection. Large portions. Deliciously prepared. Reasonable prices. Good service. There is always a line to get in, but not to worry, it moves fast. My favorite order is the fresh fruit crepes. But they also have a large selection of omelettes, waffles, and pancakes. Come hungry.

Didn't want to do breakfast at the hotel as it was too expensive so I walked here. It's about 1 mile from the Hilton Bayfront. Niceee system walk. Upon arrival we noticed a line. The line was dissolved in a matter of minutes. Sat on the patio and it was nice. The staff was friendly and the food came so... More

I saw this restaurant on Trip Advisor, and after reading reviews, had to go while I was in San Diego. Went on a Monday morning (9/19) around 9:45am and there was no wait. Woohoo! The restaurant is small inside, but the food is plentiful. I went with the pancake flight and sausage links and was not disappointed. The others with... More

We ate here today. Maybe our expectations were too high having read trip advisor.. We have also been spoilt with our Melbourne coffee culture. However we were a little gob smacked that it was just brewed coffee up for selection. The refills however were appreciated. My choice- one of the specialties was really oily having had far too much cheese... More

Now let me tell you about a truly memorable breakfast. A short 5 minute walk from our bayside hotel, but it helped to build our breakfast appetites. We had to wait in the line outside for 45 minutes, but San Diego weather made it an easy wait. Their specially breakfast "Baked Apple Pancake" is awesome and I did eat the... More

Portions are huge and filling. Use side menu to order eggs at reasonable price and save $$$. Otherwise you will either need to have the food thrown out or take out a large portion of food. Final option is to eat it all and there goes your diet.
