Went for snacks at 3 pm. We ordered beers, nachos, guacamole, and a burrito. The 4 of us had a great time sharing the food and enjoying the locale. We shared a wonderful flan that we all loved. Great afternoon with great food in Old Town.

Great spot for Mexican food and one of my favorites in old Town. Service was excellent along with very good food. This wasn't my first visit and won't be my last.

Very generous proportions SO GOOD, to leave anything behind seems a crime. Tortillas are also quite tasty & perfect for getting that last morsel. (MUCH more polite than licking the plate)

Heads up: there will be a wait and there's a reason why. Authentic Mexican restaurant, fantastic servers and the food is to die for! We were there for dinner and outside there was live music and there's benches to sit or if you feel like dancing, you can too! Great atmosphere and old charm. I had their burrito which was... More

We got lucky and didn't have to wait very long to get seated this past weekend. We got seated and ordered our food. We were not in any hurry and when our food came out we ate. I had the Carnitas Platter and T had the Tostada. Both plates were loaded with good Mexican food.

Upon arrival we had to wait about an hour and 45 min. The wait for the food also took some time about 45 min . The food was not hot was more off a warm to it. For the price the food and service is not worth it. There really nice people but maybe it was the day and time... More

This restaurant is in the popular tourist area called Old Town. It has a lot of outdoor seating and is very busy-so be prepared to wait! We were told at least 45 minutes, but it was less. We got there after 4 pm for dinner. We did wait a long time for our food to arrive and had to ask... More

Our large group was seated fairly quickly. The service was attentive and friendly and the food was very tasty. The carne asada tacos were delicious. So were the margaritas!

San Diego has many Mexican restaurants, but for some reason we keep coming back to Casa de Reyes in San Diego's Old Town district. It's popular with locals and tourists. I liked the ambience of eating outside in a Plaza surrounded by boutique shops. We came early in the mid-week dinner hour and still had a 30 minute wait. For... More

Casa de Reyes offers awarding winning, world-class Mexican comfort food! Located within Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, you’ll enjoy traditional Mexican dining in a lush garden courtyard. There’s also free live entertainment, strolling mariachis, folklórico dancing, year-round events, and more! Casa de Reyes is located on the site of an adobe home built in 1823, one of the first adobe homes in San Diego. Our restaurant is named in honor of one of the home’s first owners, Doña Maria de los Reyes Ybañez de Dominguez. Doña Maria made her small, humble adobe a comfortable and welcoming home for friends and guests, and so do we.
