We had a large group of 14 and they were very accommodating! Delicious food, but be careful with the salsa, it's fresh, but spicy!

My wife and I have been coming here for over 20 years. Most of the time it has been very good to excellent. We went here for my birthday dinner and came away so disappointed. I ordered the carnitas. They say they are juicy and tender. Well mine were dry and tough, with no flavor. Even adding salsa couldn't make... More

I just wasn't that impressed. Service was a bit slow, but tolerable for the most part. Food was good, not great, but good. I was disappointed, I was looking for that Old Town food I remember.

Yummy and affordable prices! Free Chips and Salsa (a bit spicy)! Suppose to be the oldest one in Old Town! Free Parking! Seating inside or on their patio! We'd stop back if in town again!

This colorful restaurant in an old house is a visual delight with lots of bright paints, hanging piñata, and an authentic menu. Margaritas are very good; service is very informal and friendly; it is not too noisy despite its small size and it is just a nice place to go for modestly priced, moderately tasty food. Just have vacation expectations... More

I eat here every time I come to San Diego...it's my favorite of the Many, many Mexican restaurants in Old Town. The décor is cute, it's usually less crowded than other places, and the food and drink is delicious. Service can be good or a bit slow, depending on the day, but overall always a pleasant experience.

Service was very friendly but extremely slow. When the table next to us asked again for their order the waiter pointed to our table and said they haven't got their food yet either. When we finally got the food it was really bland even with salsa. Not authentic Mexican food

It's a funky little place near Old town; where the food is great, the service was very good and the atmosphere was Mexican in Technicolour. The portions are large and the menu has all the usual suspects. If you like spicy, I recommend the Chile Verde. All the food ordered was great and reasonable.

One day of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to and I have been to a few. I had the Camerones Racheros and it was delicious. Sad to leave San Diego and La Piñata!

Thank Karen W
